Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 10

THE REUNION

While all these things were happening, I truly believed I was cursed. Pain followed me everywhere I went, like a shadow I couldn't escape, my body was waek, my spirit broken and my heart heavy, with shame and regret. Then the truth came one that shocked me deeper than anything I have ever known, Wilson Alex had left me with some skin infection, I ever imagined that the man I love could leave me with a wound so deep, so terrifying yet I kept pushing on. Some how I survived each day even when sat beside me like an unwanted companion, I cried until my tear ran dried, I prayed when words failed me, live between hope and despair, unsure of what tomorrow would bring.

Blood they said is thicker than water and that is one saying I never joked with.

Despite everything I had done-despite my rebellion, my pride, my mistakes, my parents never truly abandoned me, even when I walked away, their heart followed. I saw it in their eyes - the pain, the disappointment, the sleepless nights.

They could no longer rest knowing the only daughter was suffering.

One evening, I gathered the little strength I had and went to the. I knelt down before my parents, tears soaking the floor, my voice trembling asị begged for forgiveness. I confessed everything - my regrets, my fears, my brokenness. I expected anger, I expected rejection, instead they pulled me into their arms.

My mother cried with me, my father held me tightly, as if afraid I would dissappear again. They forgave me, not because I deserve it, but because the love never keeps record of wrongs. "My child my father said gently, life always has its own way of teaching us, you either learn the soft way or they hard way". Those words healed some inside me. They took me to the biggest hospital in Paris, a place that felt almost magical - bright halls, kind voices, and hope floating in the air like light. The doctors worked tirelessly, days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and slowly, miraculously, my health was restored.

I felt like being reborn. Life continues smoothly, and as for Wilson Mark Justice found him. My father ensured that he faced the consequences of his actions. He spent the rest of his miserable life behind prison walls, paying back everything he took from me in double fold. The man who destroyed lives learnt that evil never escapes forever. Peace returned, I went back home not as the girl who left in pride, but as a lady shaped by pain, wisdom and grace. The doors that once closed were opened again.. Y parents stood by me, helping me rebuild my life, my dreams and my future. The curse I thought followed me was never a curse at all. It was a lesson, a painful one - but a powerful one. And so, my story ends not in darkness but in light.
