I still had absolutely no idea where the wedding venue was. Allen had insisted on keeping the location a complete secret, wanting it to be the ultimate surprise for me, and he had set the ceremony to take place at night under the open stars.
Back when Allen first made the official announcement that our royal wedding would happen at night, most of the nobility and palace elder council had marveled and gossiped over the idea. They kept complaining that traditional weddings were supposed to happen in the bright morning sunlight, claiming a night ceremony went against ancient customs. But I honestly didn't have a single problem with it. We hadn't observed even a single custom since Allen proposed except for yesterday when I convinced him to go back to his quarters. We really didn't care what people were going to say.
