"Ahem!! As you all know, there is a reason I have gathered everyone here. But I will say it again clearly."
Jian's voice echoed through the hall.
"I have promoted all the vessels to the status of wife."
He looked around the room slowly, observing every face, searching for discomfort, resistance, or even the slightest hint of disagreement.
There was none.
Jian couldn't help but smile. His wives had accepted this far better than he had expected.
On second thought, they were probably just happy that he was finally back to his old self. Compared to that, everything else seemed trivial.
"Well then, ladies,If you have any questions, you can ask my dear Ladia over here."
Jian continued, his tone light. He smiled brightly as he said it.
That smile earned him several scornful looks from his beauties and a sharp glare from Ladia herself. She sighed, pushed her glasses up with her index finger, and shook her head.
She was Ladia Wuji, Jian's fourth wife and the intellectual backbone of his family.
Ladia was a striking beauty, with deep green eyes and light green hair that flowed down to her waist. She belonged to the Heavenly Observer branch of the human race, a lineage known for their unmatched wisdom and analytical ability.
She wore a robe that faded from white to green, simple yet elegant.
She was about to stand up when an excited voice suddenly rang through the room.
"Husband! Husband! I've been curious about this for a long time now. What made you change your mind and become yourself again? What kind of enlightenment did you attain?"
Jian turned toward the speaker.
It was Judius Wuji, his fifteenth wife.
She was a Three-Tailed Night Slaughter Cat. Her cat ears twitched and her three long black tail swayed rhythmically as she spoke, her wide eyes filled with pure curiosity as she stared at him with open expectation.
She had long black hair and golden eyes that shone with intense curiosity.
A few of his other wives quickly shushed her and shook their heads, but Judius ignored them completely.
Jian gave a calm smile. A smile of an wise sage who was about to say something enlightening! He slowly closed his eyes as if contemplating what to say then-
"It's an emotional enlightenment, Judy. You wouldn't understand. It's something I struggled with for millions of years. I suffered, questioned myself, and only after all that was I able to attain it!!!"
-lied straight through his teeth...
What else was he supposed to say? That someone had to kick start his broken CPU to make him think straight? That someone had to strp in to give him an outside perspective or he may never even had the chance see his mistakes?
... That was far too embarrassing!! There was no way he could admit that!!
Jian's passionate voice rang through the Audience Hall. Everyone looked at him in utter confusion.
Judius stared at him even harder, tilting her head, still confused as hell and asked with the same enthusiasm,
"Husband! What kind of Cosmic nonsense was that!?"
Everyone instinctively nodded. Wanting answers.
Jian smirked sharply.
"Heh~. That's exactly why I said you wouldn't understand."
Judius looked like she was having mental malfunction. So like any normal person, she sat down and chose to not engage any further.
"Anyway, my dear Ladia, please enlighten your sisters about what we discussed. But before I leave, let me give a brief explanation."
Jian continued smoothly, turning toward Ladia. He paused, making sure everyone was listening.
"It's basically a ranking system for all my wives. The goal is to prevent stagnation and stop anyone from becoming overly dependent on me."
Juan said as he stood up and started walking down as he explained. His whole domienere screamed of a man about to make his quite exit.
"Where are you going?"
The question came sharply from Yanlian, who frowned at him. Her voice sounded melodies but there was an underlining threat behind.
"Well, my dear, where else would I be going? You see, there are still many wives I haven't even met yet. As their husband, don't you think I should fulfill my duty?"
He replied innocently,
He coughed lightly, pretending to be embarrassed, but the wide grin on his face betrayed him completely.
Some of the wives laughed at his shamelessness.
Yanlian, on the other hand, felt a vein bulge on her forehead.
Before she could explode, Jian vanished.
Jan Leon slowly sat back down, rubbing her temple, and shook her head.
All eyes then turned to Ladia.
She stood up calmly, summoned a stack of papers, and distributed them to everyone using Soul Force. Then she began to explain the system she and Jian had discussed earlier.
She had worked extremely hard to perfect it, investing two full days refining every detail.
Truthfully, the writing had taken most of that time.
The actual structure had already been mapped out in her mind within a single minute, long before Jian had even finished explaining his idea.
Then she proceeded to tell all her sisters that all of them will be the Administrator of their husband's ridiculously big harem.
Since everyone one of them has different kind of speciality, they will be assigned as the Hall Master of their respective field speciality.
"So basically we are going to run a Sect of sort?"
Cecilia asked. After hearing everything.
"Mostly correct. But big Sister Swynna will have the most authority by default and she won't have to be a Hall Master. For better understanding, she will basically be the Sect master. Does anyone object?"
Ladia gazed at everyone. Then she looked at Swynna. Who was trying to keep her indifferent expression but the slight faltering of her eyes couldn't escape Ladias observation. Swynna clearly pleased!
Ladia smiled faintly.
"Looks like no one has any objections. We will proceed as planed and hold audience with all our junior sisters and recruit them under us to guide them and make them stronger. Again, Does anyone has any problems? Speak up now. Later, you need consult with big sister Swynna or husband."
Ladia asked again. Again, no one responded. Giving their silent approval.
"Since we all are in the same page now, let's discuss some minor details."
