Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: A Little Excited

Lu Chen pointed to the booths not far away and said confidently, "Look, aren't they rocking like that?"

It was true; in many booths, men and women were embracing and rocking back and forth, rocking like they were having a seizure.

Liu Li was both annoyed and amused: "They rock like that, so we have to rock along with them?"

Lu Chen continued confidently, leaning close to Liu Li's ear and shouting, "Isn't that right? It's your twenty-sixth birthday, so we have to be this crazy! Come on... keep rocking!"

As he spoke, he hugged Liu Li and rocked her up and down even more vigorously. The booth sofas were very bouncy, as if designed for guests to sit and rock; with this rocking, the two of them almost bounced off.

Lu Chen looked down and felt his blood boil even more. He saw Liu Li's two large, snow-white mounds almost spilling out of her neckline, swaying constantly, vividly demonstrating what it meant to be "rolling waves."

Liu Li, though a little dizzy from Lu Chen's swaying, quickly became excited. She simply wrapped her arms around him and swayed with him, laughing as she did so.

This cheerful laughter reached Lu Chen's ears, making him even more aroused. He whispered in Liu Li's ear, "Sister Li, I like you. Do you like me?"

Liu Li's face immediately burned. She only managed two words: "Of course!"

Lu Chen felt even more excited. One hand slid down and pressed against Liu Li's thigh, scratching and kneading it. Then, his hand scooped her up, and amidst her screams, he lifted her and placed her on his lap.

His legs began to bounce up and down, his buttocks swaying, making Liu Li feel like she was riding a wild horse.

Liu Li continued to laugh and scream, her hands tightly gripping Lu Chen's shoulders, making "giggle, gag, gag!" sounds.

"Having fun?" Lu Chen asked with a grin.

Liu Li replied, "Yes, it's fun! Chen, harder, haha...it feels so good!" She said, a naive smile on her face, but her words made Lu Chen almost want to push her onto the sofa.

Seeing her two large breasts practically about to pop out, Lu Chen was losing control. Just then, a fierce voice came from the side: "Not bad, having a lot of fun, huh?"

Lu Chen froze, then stopped. Liu Li was panting, her breasts still heaving wildly. She turned her head and saw three men with wicked expressions staring at her chest. Looking down, she was so frightened that she quickly turned away.

Facing Lu Chen, she stuffed her alluring breasts, which had somehow become more prominent, back in, and then pinched Lu Chen's arm.

She finally understood why Lu Chen had been shaking so vigorously.

The three men, one of whom was about thirty, was dark-skinned but had a sharp, shrewd look. He had a deep scar on his forehead, clearly from being slashed. It was a miracle he wasn't dead after such a blow.

He wore a plaid shirt, the top three buttons undone, revealing his hairy chest. He plopped down on a nearby booth sofa with an air of superiority.

Behind him stood two other men, younger and also with fierce expressions.

Clearly, the standing men were his henchmen, while the seated men were likely the higher-ups, the leader.

The leader was playing with a sharp knife, his fingers gliding lightly over the blade and tip, then flicking the surface, making a clear, ringing sound.

This was obviously meant to intimidate, but to Lu Chen, it looked like children playing with mud.

He said calmly, "Sir, you've probably got the wrong seat. This is our booth. Please find somewhere else and don't disturb our nightlife."

The leader was taken aback for a moment, then pointed his knife at Lu Chen, turning to his two henchmen and chuckling, "Did you hear that? This kid's blaming us for disturbing his nightlife? Haha!"

The two henchmen looked at Lu Chen with smug eyes and chuckled as well. "Damn it!" The leader raised his dagger and swung it diagonally at Lu Chen, shouting arrogantly, "Kid, open your eyes and see who we are! Don't be so cocky, or I'll chop you to death!"

"Oh?" Lu Chen chuckled. "I think I recognize you. Aren't you that beggar from the Yunzhou train station? What, business's been good these past few days, got a good amount of money, acting all high and mighty now? I'm telling you, if you want to come here for fun, at least clean yourself up! You stink like you just crawled out of a sewer."

As he spoke, he fanned his nose a few times and asked Liu Li, who was sitting on his lap, "Sister Li, can you smell that stench too?"

Liu Li now knew Lu Chen's abilities. Although those thugs seemed tough and carried daggers, she wasn't very afraid because she felt safe.

She raised her little hand and fanned her nose: "Yes, that's right! It stinks!"

The leader's face instantly became truly foul-smelling, and his two henchmen yelled to come and beat Lu Chen up. However, the leader raised his hand to stop them.

The gang leader stared menacingly at Lu Chen, saying in a chilling tone, "Kid, judging by your confident demeanor, you must have some connections, right? But I don't care who you are, don't even think about messing with my Brother Ling!"

He paused, his gaze towards Lu Chen laced with smugness amidst the menacing look:

"Heard of Brother Ling? Yunzhou City has four major gangs, and Brother Ling is the big boss of the Hongqing Gang. Brother Ling is here today to relax and has taken a liking to this girl you called. I'm in a good mood today, so I won't hold it against you. Let this girl come with me right now. How much did you give her? I'll pay you back! Eight hundred? A thousand?"

As he spoke, he pulled a thin wad of bills from his pocket, slapped it on the coffee table, and pushed it towards Lu Chen.

"Get out of here right now! If you say another word, I'll cripple you!"

Those were harsh words, radiating murderous intent.

Lu Chen smiled wryly, not out of fear, but because he'd been misunderstood again. He turned to Liu Li, complaining, "Li-jie, look at you! I told you not to dress so sexy and flashy. We were misunderstood at the pearl shop, and now it's happening again. You're such a worry!"

Liu Li pouted, "Fine, I won't wear that out anymore, okay?"

"Okay!" Lu Chen chuckled, "You can wear it at home for me from now on. And don't wear a bra underneath!"

"Don't be so annoying!" Liu Li said coquettishly, pinching Lu Chen's thigh.

Lu Chen cried out in pain.

On the other side, the leader's face was full of black lines, as were the two henchmen behind him. The leader's older brother gritted his teeth, holding a knife, the tip scraping against the smooth coffee table, making a teeth-grinding sound.

He asked coldly, "Kid, are you pretending? Not giving Brother Ling any face?"

"Face, huh?" Lu Chen grabbed the stack of banknotes on the table, snapped his fingers, and beckoned the nearest waitress over.

She was a very young girl, probably in her early twenties. She came over, looked at him, and realized something was wrong; her face paled. She asked timidly, "Sir, what...what is it?"

Lu Chen, seeing her innocent appearance, casually asked, "Still studying?"

The girl nodded, "Yes, I...I'm working part-time here tonight."

"Thank you for your hard work." Lu Chen casually slapped the stack of banknotes onto the plate she was carrying, waved his hand, and said, "Here, spend it as you like, go on!"

The girl was stunned.

Liu Li also waved to her, "Go on, study hard."

The girl smiled happily, said thank you repeatedly, and then fluttered away like a swallow. The leader abruptly stood up, ready to fight: "Kid, you're too arrogant. Tell me, who are you anyway! Damn, there are very few people in Yunzhou City who don't give Brother Ling face! I've been wanting to see for myself."

"How should I explain it?" Lu Chen spread his hands: "I don't have any connections. I just have a big brother who told me that if anyone in Yunzhou City tries to bully you, you shouldn't be afraid to fight them. Even if you kill someone, it doesn't matter. Just mention his name, and nothing will happen."

He deliberately paused, whetting the leader's appetite. Seeing the leader's curious eyes, he slowly said, "However, he won't allow me to mention his name without hitting anyone. He said that's not acceptable; it would diminish his prestige. So, I have to hit someone first, and only mention his name if necessary. So, tell me, how about I hit you first and then mention his name?"

As he spoke, he looked at the other man with a mocking gaze.

The leader's two henchmen shouted:

"Damn it, so arrogant, you really think you're so tough?"

"Fuck, I'll beat you up first!"

With that, they bared their teeth and claws, ready to charge!

"Stop right there! So impulsive, are you trying to embarrass Brother Ling? What did Brother Ling teach me? To be a decent person, don't resort to violence so easily. If you want something, you have to be polite first, then use force." The leader yelled. This surprised Lu Chen somewhat; this Brother Ling seemed quite like a ruthless tyrant!

Then, the leader looked intently at Lu Chen, and asked in a consultative tone, "Could you tell me his name first?"

Lu Chen shrugged. "I can't break his rules."

"Brother Dong, don't waste time with him. This kid's just bluffing!"

"Yeah! Just bluffing. What big brother? Get the hell out of here!"

"Shut up!" Brother Dong shouted. "You guys are all low-class trash, all you know is fighting and killing. Did your parents give you brains to feed insects?"

Immediately, the two men shrank back and fell silent.

Brother Dong was indeed a smart man, or perhaps someone who had been in the underworld for a long time, possessing a knack for reading people. He initially thought this kid wouldn't be difficult to deal with, and assumed Liu Li was just a hostess he'd hired.

However, after this interaction, it was clear that wasn't the case at all.

The woman was just dressed provocatively; she wasn't that kind of person. She didn't used to dress like this. This young man, both in demeanor and tone, exuded an intimidating aura. Judging from his words, he seemed to be quite skilled, and his martial arts prowess appeared to be decent.

He spoke of the older brother with great seriousness, not as if he were joking. If it were just one person, Dong Ge wouldn't be able to tell the difference between truth and falsehood, and he would have been finished long ago.

Therefore, Dong Ge felt he had to be cautious.

He asked cautiously, "So, young man, you just need to say the older brother's surname, okay? No need for his full name. That shouldn't be against the rules, right?"
