"We have to relocate?" Navia frowned at Lora's words and quickly asked, "Is this because of the prophecy? And that Water from the Primordial Sea that can dissolve Fontainians... is that what the rising seawater in the prophecy refers to?"
Seeing Navia getting worked up, Melus and Silver quickly tried to calm her down.
Navia took a deep breath and said to Lora, "Sorry, I got a little emotional... I'm just worried about Poisson. That place has been our home for so long. Unless something truly catastrophic is coming, none of us would want to leave it."
Lora said nothing and simply looked at her.
Seeing Lora's expression and gaze, Navia lowered her voice and asked, "The flooding... does it start from Poisson?"
Lora still said nothing, but her eyes had already told Navia enough.
Navia sighed. "I understand. The Spina di Rosula will fully cooperate with the Court of Fontaine in relocating Poisson."
"Good." Lora nodded and prepared to leave.
Navia suddenly called out, "Um... please wait!"
"What is it?" Lora looked at her in confusion.
After thinking for a moment, Navia said, "Um... I wanted to invite you to a meal, if you have time..."
"A meal?" Lora looked at Navia. "As far as I know, the Spina di Rosula doesn't have much funding left for certain reasons, right? Are you sure you can afford to feed me?"
"Ah? Well... that..." Navia looked a little embarrassed.
Lora continued, "Wait until the Spina di Rosula is back on its feet, then think about treating me to a meal. Besides, exposing the truth behind the serial disappearances wasn't entirely for the Spina di Rosula. It was mostly for Fontaine."
Navia nodded firmly. "All right! Then it's settled!"
"If there's nothing else, I'll be going. Furina is waiting for me." After saying goodbye to Navia, Lora turned and walked out.
Only after Lora had left did Silver ask, "Mademoiselle, is that true? Is Poisson really going to be flooded?"
Navia watched Lora's departing figure in silence for a moment before saying, "Miss Lora is no ordinary person. She may look like Lady Furina's bodyguard, but her conduct and her relationship with Monsieur Neuvillette both show she's far more than that. Her status is likely extremely distinguished. We should listen to her."
After parting with Navia, Lora walked over to the Fountain of Lucine and saw Furina staring at it in a daze.
Lora came up behind her, gently patted her shoulder, and asked, "What are you spacing out for?"
Furina snapped back to herself and looked at Lora in panic. Once she saw it was her, she relaxed a little.
After thinking for a moment, Furina asked, "Lora, do you think voices can come from inside the Fountain of Lucine?"
"Probably. They say the Fountain of Lucine gathers the emotions of all Fontaine, don't they?" Lora nodded.
Furina immediately asked, "Then... can people hear them?"
Lora fell silent for a moment, then looked at her and asked, "What did you hear just now?"
"No... nothing. I didn't hear anything! I just heard people say you can hear other people's voices here..." Furina quickly shook her head in denial.
Seeing her like this, Lora understood what had happened. It seemed Furina had heard the words she had once sobbed out at night.
Thinking of that, Lora ruffled Furina's hair again.
"All right, don't think too much about it. Let's head back."
"Mm." Furina nodded.
By now, she no longer cared whether Lora ruffling her hair would damage the Hydro Archon's image.
The two left the Opera Epiclese and returned to the Court of Fontaine.
The Maison Gardiennage quickly headed to the Confrerie of Cabriere, but Marcel had already disappeared without a trace. Because of this, Neuvillette ordered a search across all of Fontaine, and the Spina di Rosula joined in as well.
Compared to the Maison Gardiennage, they were better at using methods outside official channels.
One day, Lora and Furina went shopping together.
With Lora by her side, Furina no longer brought any other guards.
As the two walked through the streets of the Court of Fontaine, they ran into Tartaglia again.
When Tartaglia saw Lora and Furina, he smiled and waved. "Yo, isn't this Miss Lora? We meet again!"
Then he looked at Furina and put on a surprised expression. "Oh my, is this Fontaine's Hydro Archon?"
"What are you wandering around the streets for this time? Collecting debts?" Lora frowned at Tartaglia.
Tartaglia laughed. "What kind of question is that? Am I not allowed to have a life? I'm enjoying my vacation today!"
"You're enjoying a vacation?" Lora frowned when she heard that. "No... how can you possibly have a vacation..."
"Hm? What?" Tartaglia didn't catch the second half of her sentence.
"Oh, nothing. I just have a project I want to discuss with you." Lora looked at Tartaglia and suddenly smiled.
Seeing that smile, Tartaglia took a step back and frowned. "Discuss with me? What project?"
Lora beckoned to him. "Come here. Come closer and we'll talk."
Young Tartaglia still had no idea what was waiting for him. He walked over, and once he was close, he asked, "All right, I'm here. You can tell me now, right?"
Looking at Tartaglia standing before her, Lora smiled and said solemnly, "Sorry about this..."
"Huh?"
Before he could react, Lora suddenly shouted, "Help! The Hydro Archon is under attack! Maison Gardiennage! Patrol officers! Gardes! Marechaussee Phantom! Palais Mermonia! Anyone with a badge, get over here!"
"Huh??!!"
Tartaglia and Furina both froze on the spot.
Lora grabbed Tartaglia's hand. "Don't even think about running!"
Furina looked at Lora and had only managed to open her mouth before Lora shot her a look. She immediately closed it again.
Lora's shout quickly drew the patrol officers over. A large group surrounded the three of them, and the person in charge asked, "Lady Furina, Madame Lora, what happened?"
"This man is a Fatui Harbinger. He just tried to attack the Hydro Archon! Arrest him! Put him on trial!" Lora declared to everyone while holding onto Tartaglia.
