Back in the room of the nameless guild leader, Adam was still holding the rainbow fish, which hadn't stopped moving; even though it had been out of the water for over two hours, it was still alive.
It showed no signs of weakness… or exhaustion.
It was as if it could breathe just as easily in the water as out of it… It really was a rather unique fish, capable even of creating an illusion like the one before.
Claire, flicking her cloak and darting her eyes from side to side, spoke:
"And now, how are you going to save him?"
Adam looked over at the man, who was still breathing heavily; his chest rose and fell at a steady pace… He could understand her concern; his father had been in a similar situation.
It was not an unfamiliar situation to him.
He let out a long sigh and said:
"I need a kitchen."

Claire stared at him; her expression was as if she'd just heard the most absurd thing in the world.
"…Really?"
