It was simple,all they had to do was walk past the door and they would find the documents lying on his study table, but despite that they didn't try to forcefully enter. From the looks on the woman's face,she was hoping he wasn't the culprit. Nico realized that there was no way to escape being caught, but he still tried to buy time, hoping for a miracle of some sort.
Realizing that there was no other way to go about it,he decided to confess to them and allowed them to enter his room. While they checked,he bowed his head waiting for the any punishment that might come. After nothing happened for a minute or two,he raised his head and was shocked to see the teachers smiling with the man carrying a relaxed look and the woman sitting on his study table. He glanced at his table but couldn't find the documents on it.
"Sorry dude... You were the first one to leave the building so we taught you might be the one, sorry for the misunderstanding"
"See,I told you he wasn't the one..."
Huh... huh, what's going on, where are the files?
After discussing with them a little,they excused themselves leaving Nico alone in his room once again. He quickly went to his study table and searched every nook and cranny of it,but he couldn't find the documents anywhere.
Seeing this,he falls flat on his bed with and exhausted look
"Ha...I guess miracles are real"
As he glanced over to the table once more to confirm,he noticed a letter which wasn't on the table before. To make matters worse it was lying in the exact position he left the documents.
"Where did that come from?"
He picked it up and and decided to read it given that it was directed to him.
Let's see...
'To Nicodemus, thanks for retrieving the files like I've asked, I will be taking them with me. I hope we'll meet again face to face...

"Huh... how did, when did anyone enter this room"

The next day, Nico woke up with a start after remembering what he had talked with Davi about the previous day. He wanted to escape him at all costs until after the entrance ceremony. Sky and white had scolded him for leaving without informing anyone else yesterday so he was nervous about asking for help from them. Just as he taught about what to do, White walked in with sunglasses in hand and an extra pair for Nico.
"Yo, Nico, let's go for a walk back and forth from the train station..."
"Why..."
"Huh?!"
"F-fine..."
As they walked towards the station,he spots sylphie the most social girl in their class. Nico averts his gaze immediately he noticed her while white ran towards her, leaving him behind.
"As expected. "
Nico turns and walks a little further from them while they continued discussing. As he walked behind them, while casually glancing at the different views in their academic city he spots Lily walking towards him. Not to seem offensive,he continued to walk ahead while trying to avoid meeting her gaze. By the time he turned back again, Davi was with her talking while laughing with her. When he made sure Davi haven't noticed him,he turns and runs to the station ahead of white who was still in front of him at that time.
When white noticed,he excused himself and ran to the station to meet up with him.
"What happened dude...why did you suddenly run off"
"I felt like jugging a little bit"
Nico was actually surprised that he had bought such a flimsy story.
"Are you actually an idiot?..."
"What?"
"No nothing, just thinking aloud"
Now that he made sure that he lost Davi,he relaxed and continued to talk with white while time flew by. By the time they returned, back to their dorms,it was already past 5 in the evening and sky was waiting in front of Nico's room with a bunch of drinks.
"Oh hey there guys..."
"Yo..."
"Sup..."
"Huh..."
Like his hands had a mind of their own,they moved, catching an ice dagger that was going straight for sky's head. Although it wounded him,he paid little attention to it and checked on sky first.
"N-Nico... Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, it's just a scratch..."
"Dude where'd that come from?"
The looks on White's face alone said all there is to know about the situation right now. Although Nico didn't notice, white who possessed the rare sage eyes observed that the blade was poisoned to kill.
Why am I feeling dizzy all of a sudden...
Before he could completely process his thoughts,he slumped on the floor, hitting his head in the process and falling unconscious.
"Oh... Am I dying"
"Nico!... Nico?!"
Wow, showing me the statistics of my death...ha!
The last thing he remembered was white desperately trying to get through a phone call while sky sat beside him crying her eyes out.
Oh well...
Nico was once again in the void realm where he met his former leader earlier. This time,they were in a garden where he was in a tea party with the leader.
"Dying so early... You really are interesting"
"Did you call me here just to laugh at me?..."
"No,I wouldn't dare.... pfft...oh sorry"
Nico allowed him to laugh to his heart's content before asking a question.
"Will I really die..."
"Hmm..."
Meanwhile back in the dorms where the incident took place,on top of the watch tower in the dorms where two boys dressed in black sat
"Tch... He really caught that..."
"That was wicked right..."
"He's gonna die anyways,it will be easier to kill the girl when him and that other guy is dead.
"Where do you think you're going..."
White was suddenly in the watch tower blocking their exit.
"Oh...."
