"Relax, you two just stand guard outside for me." Cloud said with complete confidence. "If I'm not out in an hour, then... help me sell all the gear in my game accounts, convert it to cash, and burn it as spirit money for me."
In the end, between Cloud's relentless pestering and his shameless threats of "if you don't agree, I'll kiss you," the sisters couldn't resist him. With their hearts in their throats, they agreed to this absurd request.
Kagura Shrine, the Sealing Chamber.
Under the sisters' anxious watch and protection, Cloud sat cross-legged before the Yata Mirror.
His hands formed seals as he murmured under his breath (actually chatting with the System in his mind). The ancient mirror slowly emitted a soft glow, and on its surface appeared a swirling vortex like ripples on water.
"I'm off then." Cloud turned back, giving the sisters a reassuring smile.
Then from the center of his brow, a golden "Divine Soul" composed of pure spiritual energy slowly emerged and vanished into the vortex.
After a dizzying sensation of the world spinning, Cloud's Divine Soul perspective arrived in a strange space.
This was an endless expanse of gray-white void. No sky, no ground, no direction—only eternal solitude and silence.
Countless shattered plane fragments, like mirror shards, floated in this void. Each fragment seemed to imprison a powerful, resentful soul.
"Whoa, this décor is pretty post-modern." Cloud looked around. "But the environment's terrible—not even WiFi. Living here, Goenitz must be going stir-crazy."
He released his spiritual energy like radar, searching through this infinite space.
Soon, in the largest, most secure "mirror prison," he found his target.
Goenitz sat cross-legged in the void, eyes closed in meditation.
Though sealed, the divine authority of a priest of Orochi hadn't diminished in the slightest.
"Yo, Goenitz. Settling in okay?" Cloud's Divine Soul materialized before Goenitz. "How's the food here? Want me to order you some takeout?"
Goenitz's eyes snapped open. The moment he saw Cloud, even his eternally unchanging "priest face" showed disbelief.
"Cloud?! What are you doing here?! Were you... sealed too?"
"What are you thinking? I'm here sightseeing." Cloud shrugged. "Also came to discuss some business with you."
"Business?" Goenitz sneered. "Between you and me, there's nothing to discuss except life and death."
"Don't be so cold." Cloud sidled closer, his expression all "buddy-buddy." "Goenitz, I'm here to give you an opportunity. A chance to leave the dark side, turn over a new leaf, and become a god again."
"Submit to me. Become my subordinate. I'll take you out, help you soar. What do you say? Pretty generous terms, right?"
Hearing this, Goenitz first froze, then burst into laughter as if he'd heard the world's greatest joke.
"Hahahaha... submit to you? A mortal?" He looked at Cloud with eyes full of contempt and mockery. "Cloud, I admit you're strong—stronger than I ever imagined. But make me, Goenitz, submit? You're dreaming! I serve only my master—the great Orochi!"
"Sigh, you stubborn idiot. Why can't you get it?" Cloud rubbed his forehead, exasperated. "I've been hinting so obviously. Try again. Feel carefully—with your very soul—exactly what I have... inside me."
With that, he stopped suppressing the power of his "Divine Bloodline"—that incomparably pure essence refined through the System's "Super Purification Upgrade."
An aura more ancient, more vast, closer to the "source" than Goenitz's Blood of Madness instantly filled the entire "mirror prison"!
Goenitz's laughter stopped dead.
He could feel that the power emanating from Cloud shared the same origin as the Divine Tribe's power, yet in terms of "divine rank," it was on an entirely different level!
It felt like a bootleg product encountering the genuine original manufacturer—a primal urge to worship rising from the depths of his bloodline!
"This... this is... impossible!" Goenitz's voice trembled. "Who... who are you exactly?!"
"I told you, I'm the Divine Son." Cloud spread his hands. "Your boss Orochi would have to call me 'Sir' when meeting me. So you, as a minion, shouldn't you be rushing over to hug this golden thigh?"
However, Goenitz was still Goenitz. As Orochi's most loyal "fanatic," his faith was unshakeable.
"I don't believe it!" He forcibly suppressed the trembling in his bloodline, his gaze turning cold again. "Unless... you can prove you possess power surpassing my master! Otherwise, this is all empty talk!"
"Proof? Sure." Cloud smiled. "Then I'll just... beat you until you believe!"
A "Divine Soul Battle" within the sealing space erupted.
Goenitz summoned his strongest "Breath of Wind," attempting to tear Cloud's Divine Soul to shreds.
But to his horror, he discovered that his wind storm—powerful enough to rip apart space—was like a gentle breeze against Cloud's Divine Soul, condensed from 96% Absolute Domain into near-physical form. It couldn't cause any damage whatsoever!
"Too weak, Goenitz." Cloud shook his head. Then he raised his hand and summoned a wind storm of his own.
But this storm wasn't black—it was... golden!
This was the "Sacred Storm" he had created by fusing the Kagura-style "protective" power with his own Divine Bloodline!
The golden storm and black storm collided head-on! The result was utterly one-sided!
Goenitz's "Breath of Wind" was instantly purified and dispersed! The shockwave even sent him staggering backward!
"This... this is... power at the Divine Domain level!" Goenitz's eyes filled with terror. "Your Absolute Domain... is already infinitely close to 100%!"
