Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Explosion is Art

The Heavenly Soul Empire was originally one of the three great empires of the Douluo Continent, splitting off from the Heavenly Dou Empire.

It also possessed the Body Sect as its national protector, boasting immense power. Its sect leader, Poison Undying, was a level 98 Super Douluo. Shrek Academy was located within the Heavenly Soul Empire's territory.

"My old man and I live in the Heavenly Soul Empire. I wonder if those people will ever return." Several days later, Tian Muchen stepped into the Heavenly Soul Empire again. Looking at the cities, he felt particularly uneasy. He remembered how his old man had held off those people, buying him time to escape, and he felt a surge of frustration.

"There was nothing we could do. We were too weak back then." Jin Tianming sensed the hatred within his Body Sect and spoke up to warn him, fearing that his Body Sect might be blinded by hatred and do something irrational.

Tian Muchen closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and then slowly opened them. His gaze became profound and distant.

Memories of the past surged into his mind like a tide, scenes flashing through his mind.

He remembered the winding path he used to walk with his father when he was a child, lined with colorful wildflowers that bloomed along the way, their fragrance carried on the breeze; he also remembered the old house, somewhat dilapidated, yet filled with warmth and coziness.

With these vivid memories, Tian Mucheng embarked on his search. He walked through bustling streets, avoiding the crowds, following a familiar yet unfamiliar road. With each step, the memories became clearer.

Finally, as he turned a corner, a familiar building appeared before him.

It was the home he and his father had once shared! The marks of time had given the house a weathered look, but it still stood there quietly, as if waiting for its owner's return.

"I didn't expect them to preserve it so well," Jin Tianming said, surprised to see the intact house.

Without hesitation, Tian Mucheng stepped into the yard. "Let's go in and take a look."

Jin Tianming followed, having observed the surroundings earlier and found no sign of human presence.

Tian Mucheng arrived at the door, took out a key, and slowly opened the door. Jin Tianming went in first and observed that there was only dusty furniture and walls covered with cobwebs.

"Those people were here." Jin Tianming glanced at the furniture and drew his conclusion based on his original body's memories.

"So do you think they were after the soul bone or something else?" Tian Muchen asked curiously. He was genuinely curious whether they were after the soul bone or something else.

"Original body, don't you already have the answer in your heart?"

Jin Tianming looked at his original body. His original body already had the answer, yet he was still asking him.

His original body had run so far and hadn't seen any pursuers, which meant those people didn't know what was in the box, so they weren't after the soul bone at all.

Seeing that Jin Tianming had no interest, Tian Muchen said with some disappointment, "You can be really boring sometimes!"

"Then you should find a fun clone to keep you company."

"I'm afraid he'll kill me."

The two talked and looked around, searching for clues. After a long time, Tian Muchen stopped by the bookshelf on the second floor. He stared intently at the books that didn't have any dust.

Jin Tianming curiously leaned closer. "What's wrong?"

"Some of the books on the bookshelf don't have any dust. It's a bit strange."

Tian Muchen gave his explanation, picked up a book, flipped through a few pages, found nothing special, and put it back.

Just as Tian Mucheng was about to pick up another book, Jin Tianming seemed to sense something. He immediately grabbed Tian Mucheng's hand, "Wait, main body."

Tian Mucheng withdrew his hand and asked through mental communication, "What's wrong?"

"Someone's here!"

Jin Tianming replied, going to the corridor window and noticing some people approaching the house.

"I didn't expect there to be rats here."

Tian Mucheng also went to the window, looking at the people outside, and asked, "Can we kill them?"

"I'm arrogant, not stupid!" Jin Tianming glanced at the white body, then asked in return, "What do we do now?"

"Wait to die."

Jin Tianming:

Outside the house, a group of people came to the courtyard.

"Did you really see two teenagers go in?" A middle-aged man looked at the rat-like man standing in front of him and asked.

The rat-like man hurriedly answered, afraid of being negligent, "Yes, sir, I did see two teenagers go in just now."

"If it's true, I'll give you five gold soul coins," the middle-aged man said to the other man. "If it's false, you should understand!"

"Yes, yes, yes," the man repeatedly assured him,

"I completely understand what you mean, sir. I absolutely did not lie to you."

He wouldn't report to the official if he was wrong.

The officer let his subordinates go in first, and only after they were inside did he step forward. The man who looked like a rat followed the officer.

As for leaving, the officer hadn't given him the money yet.

The door opened, and they saw two boys standing there waiting for them. They were all dumbfounded. Why were these two boys standing here waiting for them?

"Is this a trap?" The officer stopped and stared seriously at the two boys standing in front of them. He calmly asked, "Why are you two children here?"

Tian Mucheng heard the middle-aged man's question. He calmly looked at the officer and smiled, asking, "Uncle, don't you remember me?"

"You are...?"

The officer looked at the somewhat familiar boy with suspicion. Had he seen this eight or nine-year-old boy before?

"Was it you who lured your master here like a dog back then?"

"I still remember you, uncle!"

Tian Mucheng reminded the middle-aged man, who seemed to have forgotten him.

The middle-aged officer, reminded, immediately remembered who the boy was—the one the old man had been with.

"It's you!" He was very surprised. Why would this guy dare to come back to die? Did he have a death wish?

"Looks like you haven't forgotten me, uncle!"

Tian Mucheng's smile widened as the officer finally remembered him.

The middle-aged officer felt uneasy at Tian Mucheng's smile. Sensing something bad was about to happen, he immediately ordered his men to seize the two. "Grab them!"

Tian Mucheng looked at the surrounding soldiers and said helplessly, "Are you all in such a hurry?"

As soon as he finished speaking, golden light emanated from Tian Mucheng and Jin Tianming, who hadn't spoken until now.

"What's going on?" a soldier asked, puzzled.

"Never mind, let's go!"

Another soldier ignored him, immediately summoning two white spirit rings and grabbing at the two boys.

With a sharp crack, countless fine golden cracks suddenly appeared on the bodies of Tian Mucheng and Jin Tianming, spreading rapidly like a spiderweb.

In an instant, dazzling golden light erupted from the cracks, its brightness so intense that it instantly enveloped everyone present and the house!

Then, accompanied by a deafening roar, Tian Mucheng and Jin Tianming's bodies simultaneously exploded! Countless golden rays surged forth like a torrent, destroying everything in their path.

Those around them didn't even have time to react before being completely engulfed by the terrifying golden light…

The house, along with the group, was razed to the ground, as if it had never existed.

In a hotel room in the Heavenly Soul Empire,Jin Tianming opened the window and released a large golden bird. He said to Tian Mucheng, who was lying on the bed, completely exhausted, "It seems your soul skill consumed a lot of energy."

"It was my first time using it, and I didn't expect it to drain all my soul power."

Tian Mucheng gasped for breath, somewhat helplessly. He really hadn't expected the exploding dragon soul doll to consume so much soul power; it almost turned him into dried meat.

Seeing his true form like this, Jin Tianming kindly advised, "You should be more careful next time. Playing like this every time will definitely take a toll on your body. You're already so weak, and you still play like that."

"It's fun, I love playing!"

Jin Tianming thought:

This guy can be quite abstract sometimes.

He retrieved the bird he had created with gold elements, and a small box landed in his hand. He glanced at it but didn't open it, instead tossing it to Tian Mucheng lying on the bed.

Tian Mucheng glanced at the box but didn't rush to open it, continuing to rest. He didn't have the strength to open the box.

At this moment, he couldn't move a single finger; his body was truly too fragile.
