Cale's stomach was finally satisfied after demolishing three people's worth of food.
The academy canteen staff had stopped asking questions by his third plate. Well what could they do... even though he may look like a barbarian and a beggar at the same time, he was still a noble.
As he walked back toward the dormitories, the atmosphere shifted abruptly.
Voices rose in the distance—dozens of them, overlapping and tense. His aura sensing picked up the spike in aggression immediately.
The crowd was massive.
At least fifty students had gathered in the central courtyard, a girl with bandaged arms stood at the center, her expression twisted with barely contained fury. Beside her, a boy clenched his fists, equally tense. Something had definitely kicked off.
'A group fight? Or did someone hit his girlfriend? Sigh, people these days.'
"I guess something's wrong," Cale muttered, his casual afternoon walk forgotten.
