Hagiwara's voice was so loud it gave Matsuda Jinpei, who was dozing off nearby, a sudden jolt, nearly sending him sliding off his chair.

Seeing the black-haired youth slowly sitting up from the hospital bed, Matsuda let out a very obvious sigh of relief.

"Seriously... you're finally awake, you jerk."

Right then, the ward door was gently pushed open, and Morofushi Hiromitsu walked in carrying a few warm bento boxes. Seeing the movement in the room, he stopped in his tracks, his grey-blue eyes instantly lighting up.

"Kuno!"

Morofushi set the bentos down on the bedside table and turned to Gojo with deep concern. "How are you feeling right now? Any discomfort anywhere?"

Gojo blinked, looking back and forth at the three faces before him.

"...Did you guys bring me to the hospital?"

Hagiwara replied as he pressed the call button next to the bed, "Yeah. You suddenly fainted during class earlier. Everyone was incredibly worried."

"I'm perfectly fine~ Stop looking like I'm about to pass away!" Gojo spoke in a light, cheerful tone, dramatically swaying his body. He moved so much he almost knocked over the IV stand next to him, but Morofushi quickly stepped forward and caught his arm to steady him.

"You say that now!" Matsuda shook his fist, sounding thoroughly annoyed. "The doctor said all your vitals were completely normal, yet you just wouldn't wake up. We almost thought you were going to turn into a vegetable!"

Even at this fully equipped city hospital, the doctors had reached the exact same conclusion as the school infirmary. Their only recommendation was an IV drip to keep his blood sugar levels stable.

Morofushi poured a cup of warm water and handed it over. "The doctor mentioned it might be a low blood sugar coma caused by delayed insulin release... If we knew this would happen, you should have been eating way fewer sweets."

Gojo obediently took a few sips of water from the cup, easing the dryness in his throat.

Thinking about how he had been laughing and chatting in a bar using his real body while Hagiwara and the others stayed by this unconscious disguise the whole time, he felt a bit guilty.

Right then, the live comments on the floating screen were scrolling rapidly.

Ahhh, Kuno is alright!!! My heart almost stopped beating!!

Let me see which cute little thing woke up? Ah, it's my favorite!!

"The Story of How My Favorite Character Suddenly Became a Weak, Fragile Boy After Beating Everyone in the Police Academy"

As a medical student, there is definitely something wrong with these symptoms! Delayed insulin won't keep someone unconscious for this long.

Wow, Hagiwara and Hiromitsu are so warm. Kuno finally knows what it feels like to make people worry! He suddenly got so obedient, haha.

A doctor in a white coat hurried over after hearing the call bell and ran a few basic checks on Gojo.

"Well, his blood pressure is normal, and his blood sugar has returned to a safe level. There shouldn't be any major issues... But considering the possibility of a rare condition, it might be best to stay in the hospital for further observation."

"No need, no need~" Gojo was already peeling the medical tape from the IV needle on the back of his hand. "I know my own body best!"

"Wait!" Hiromitsu wanted to stop him but didn't dare use force, so he could only watch as Gojo cleanly pulled the needle straight out.

A bead of blood instantly welled up from the puncture site, looking incredibly bright against his pale skin.

"Hey!" Matsuda grabbed his wrist firmly and roughly pressed a cotton swab over the spot. "Kuno Hisano, are you a complete idiot?"

Hagiwara hesitated. "Are you really sure it's fine without checking a bit more?"

"Oh, it's really perfectly fine." Gojo did a quick flip and bounced right off the hospital bed, flexing his wrists like a bodybuilder. "See? I'm completely healthy!"

What kind of medical miracle is this, haha.

Matsuda acts all rough with his words, but he's actually super caring.

Pulling the needle out like that is too wild! It looks painful already.

Seeing Gojo's firm attitude, the doctor didn't force him to stay. He simply warned him not to consume massive amounts of sugar or overwork himself anytime soon. If anything similar happened again, he needed a comprehensive checkup.

"Sure, got it." Gojo agreed readily with his mouth, but the moment the doctor left, his eyes fixed instantly on the bento boxes on the nightstand. "Hiro~ Are there any butter potatoes in there?"

The words had barely left his mouth when Matsuda's knuckles came down with a sharp rap on his head.

"The doctor literally just finished speaking and you already forgot, didn't you?"

"Ouch, ouch, ouch! Matsuda, you're trying to murder a patient here!"

Hearing Gojo's energetic shouting, Morofushi finally felt at ease. He opened one of the bento boxes and explained, "This is the hospital's nutritional meal, so everything is very light. I figured you'd wake up right around dinner time... and look at that, you actually did."

"Plain porridge, steamed pumpkin, boiled greens, and a pickled plum...?" Gojo's face instantly dropped, looking as if all color had drained from his world. "I'm going to the convenience store to buy snacks—"

"No!" the other three barked in unison.

"Strawberry cake..."

"Denied."

"Chocolate parfait..."

"Don't even think about it."

"Ehh—why?!"

"You literally just got admitted to a hospital, and you're still asking why?" Matsuda pointed out. "If you keep this up, they'll be drawing pure syrup instead of blood from your veins."

Hagiwara Kenji added with a bright smile, "Kuno, your dinner tonight is strictly destined to be healthy and plain~"

"Are you guys actual monsters?"

Morofushi spoke seriously, "To prevent you from fainting again, as your roommate, I have to monitor your eating habits... Also, the doctor said you're overworked. It's probably because you get up incredibly early every day and don't get enough sleep. You need to fix that too."

Having just opened his eyes, Gojo was already being ordered not to stay up late, not to sneak any sweets, and to keep his diet completely plain. He felt like his disguise's already short life had turned entirely bleak.

Is this the price for an emergency consciousness transfer?

No way. Next time, he absolutely couldn't let Shiro run into Gin and leave him to clean up the mess.

Gojo held his porridge spoon, a few stray hairs sticking up on his head as he radiated an aura of pure despair.

Hagiwara couldn't help but reach out and ruffle that deflated head. "Alright, alright. All four of us are eating the exact same food tonight. Does that make you feel a little better?"

Kuno really is the favorite of the group! They're all eating the healthy meal with him.

The image of you guys just living well together matters more than anything.

Kuno's hair looks so soft... I want to rub it.

By the time they finished the incredibly light dinner, the sky outside the window had filled with twilight. Though he had complained that life without butter potatoes was incomplete, Gojo still managed to finish the porridge under Hiromitsu's gentle yet unyielding gaze. There was no helping it; in the eyes of these guys, he was still a genuine patient.

"Oh? Is it already this late?" Hagiwara glanced at the time and turned to Matsuda. "I just remembered. Didn't you say you were going to the motorcycle shop to help Hiromitsu ask about that... customer with the goblet tattoo?"

Matsuda nodded. "Going now is perfect. The staff should still be at the shop around this hour."

Since he had been completely busy taking care of the unconscious Gojo, Morofushi had forgotten about this himself. Hearing them discuss it now, the image of the goblet tattoo flashed through his mind again, and his expression turned serious.

Gojo slid over, squeezing between the three of them like an incredibly curious black cat.

"What's this? Who is Hiro looking for? I want to go too!"

Hagiwara patted his shoulder. "You just got out of bed. It's better if you get more rest."

"No way!" Gojo pouted, suddenly getting an idea.

"How about this~" He suddenly grabbed Matsuda's arm. "If Matsuda can break free from my grip, I'll go straight back to school!"

Matsuda's face twitched. "You bastard...!"

What kind of patient has this much raw strength!

Watching them mess around, Morofushi couldn't help but smile.

"Alright, since Kuno has so much energy, let's all check out that motorcycle shop together."

Hagiwara nodded and placed quick calls to Instructor Onizuka, Furuya Rei, and Date Wataru, explaining Kuno's current situation. The instructor mentioned that since it wasn't a major issue, he should return to class soon—and, of course, take proper care of his health. At least for the short term, the instructor had no intention of letting Gojo go up to do any more training demonstrations.
