Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: You’ve Got to Be Kidding Me, Right?

When Satoru Gojo woke up again, he found himself in a... prison?

He keenly sensed that this world seemed fundamentally different from his previous one. Every object, the flow of air—everything appeared transparent and exposed before his eyes.

Closing his eyes, which possessed unnervingly perfect vision, he opened them again to survey his surroundings.

The walls were made of stone, heavily guarded, with one door and one window. The window was narrow, barely allowing a sliver of light to filter in from the outside.

There were two beds; the quilts were folded neatly, and the room was very clean. The only table held a few pills and bandages.

A quick analysis from his eyes told Gojo that this was a sealed room. The owner of the room preferred cleanliness and was prone to injury. He didn't need to waste energy trying the door; it was locked. As for the view outside... he caught the scent of sea spray and preliminary concluded they were on an island.

"..."

Gojo was a bit dazed. He moved his body and quickly realized that he wasn't very old right now.

To confirm his suspicion, he hopped off the bed and walked to a nearby wall where a square mirror was embedded.

The mirror reflected a fair face with a hint of baby fat. He wore a light blue hoodie, had slightly spiked white hair, a small pointed chin, and an exquisitely cute face. He had snow-colored eyelashes and those eyes—eyes that anyone who saw them could never forget.

Sparkling like ocean jewels, they possessed unparalleled beauty, as if one would be sucked in by looking too long. Adding all the hardware together, it was easy to see what kind of stunning appearance this child would have in the future.

This was... the Six Eyes, the Eyes of Heaven!

The genius whose birth alone shifted the balance of the Jujutsu world.

After a few brief seconds of secretly enjoying his current heaven-defying looks, he snapped out of it and hurriedly called out to the system in his mind: "System, what's going on? You didn't say I'd land in this form!"

"System regulations: The host needs to grow up slowly in this world."

"Ah, wait, it's that trope, right? I was actually fed the A-drug, and I'm about to transfer to Teitan Elementary and be in the same class as Conan... Right? The mysterious white-haired transfer student—that's the routine, isn't it?"

"..."

Not hearing a confirmation from the system, Gojo had a bad feeling. He asked, "No way... What year is it now?"

"Bzzzt... Query complete. It is 18 years before the first year of the Conan Era. Note: 'Year One' refers to the year Edogawa Conan was born—specifically, the year Kudo Shinichi was knocked unconscious by Gin and fed the drug."

In other words, wasn't this eighteen years before the start of the first episode of Conan...

Gojo had placed too much blind trust in the system and hadn't asked enough questions before crossing over. He hadn't expected the timeline to be this terrifying. If he wanted to appear in the manga, he would have to grow up first and live in this world for eighteen years!

This was such a scam... a full eighteen years!

He was only twenty years old before he crossed over. In eighteen years, Yang Guo reunited with the Dragon Maiden, and Nobita Nobi's grandson had already invented Doraemon!

By the time the plot actually starts, he'll be an old geezer, hey!

After frantically ranting at the system in his head, the entity remained silent, playing dead. Gojo, being highly adaptable, eventually sighed and planned to investigate his current situation.

"System, did you arrange an identity for me? Is this a physical transmigration?"

"Based on the World Consciousness, a logical identity has been formed for the host. The system cannot disclose specific details; please explore on your own."

"Fine, at least I'm not an undocumented resident."

With a thought, Gojo summoned his Host Panel.

> Name: Satoru Gojo (Jiang Wu)

> Gender: Male

> Physical Age: 10 years old

> Identity: Natural-born Jujutsu Sorcerer (Evaluation: You, who have not yet reached your peak, already surpass most people.)

> Inventory: No items currently

> Manga Pages & Forum: (Temporarily inaccessible)

> Mall: (Open)

>

Gojo clicked into the Mall to browse; the variety of items was dizzying. Weapons included Desert Eagles with infinite ammo, exquisite Beretta pistols, grenades, rocket launchers, and so on—it was essentially a portable armory. There were also many clothes and props, even female outfits, but they were all grayed out and unclickable.

The system had mentioned earlier that purchasing these items required Impression Points. Fortunately, these spent points would still count toward the total goal of 100,000, which was a nice touch.

Gojo closed the Mall and checked his current abilities.

> Bloodline Abilities:

> * Six Eyes (Activated): Can see through hidden information; possesses superhuman insight.

> * Limitless (Unactivated)

> * Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void (Unactivated)

> * Reverse Cursed Technique (Unactivated)

> * Taijutsu (Activated): Master of hand-to-hand combat; physically powerful.

>

The Cursed Techniques were all unactivated... He really wanted to try the teleportation of "Blue."

Gojo asked the system again, and it replied: "Abilities will gradually unlock as the host ages and meets development conditions. Note: Please strictly adhere to the character's persona at all times, otherwise, you will face electric shock punishment."

"Fine, I got it."

Gojo shrugged. Just as he was about to grumble internally about this irresponsible system, the Six Eyes immediately detected something—someone was approaching the room. Two people.

Likely... a child and an adult.

He thought for a second and decided to go back to the bed and pretend to be asleep. He controlled his breathing rhythm, acting very realistically.

He wondered... just who were the people outside?
