The team went down to Reyaan Holdings to assess the situation and retrieve any valuable items. They found a shocking amount of value. Arya called for the Black Hand to come to the banks' docks, and 25 million gold coins of value were carried out to the ship. There was a lot of gear and magic items, also. Several of the sandkin took weapons, and Tse and Ming took information caches. After all was loaded, they took Wicket's mother to the villa and searched it for valuables. Several million in jewelry and currency were found. Arya called for the stonekin ship to post itself outside the Black and White building.
The team headed for the building, with the still-unconscious Jaqen in tow. Thirty faceless men met them as they entered the building. They were dipping their blades in the black pool, and Arya shouted out that their blades were now poisoned. The team all had several of the older Mangana's poison cures at the ready. The fight ground on slowly, but the faceless men were outmatched and died. A couple of team members were poisoned but took the cure. Word came to Arya that the ship was in place, with 4 guns aimed at the building. The team walked to the room where Arya had once been given a mission; the ten high-ranking members were there, waiting. Jaqen was unceremoniously dumped to the floor in front of them. The kindly man spoke, "Ah, see the girl comes to us." Arya said, "Yes, we have come to give you all the gift. No more shall faceless men seek my death, for they shall all be dead. But you, kindly man, we will paralyze, so that you are unable to move. And you will live like that for decades." He snarled at her, and the 10 attacked. "We will bring these walls down upon you," Arya snarled back. She raised both hands and dropped the right one. In her mind, she called for aft side guns to fire. Two shots screamed through the building, ripping walls down and shattering the outside facade of the building. Shrieks of terror and pain rang through the building. The 10 kept fighting, but looked at each other in confusion. Then Arya dropped the other hand, and two more shots screamed through the other side of the building. Chunks of ceiling fell where they were fighting. The kindly man shouted, "Stop!"
They didn't care for their own lives, but the building and all they had built together meant a great deal to them. They stopped fighting and bowed their heads to her. One by one, she cut them from their shoulders. They looted the bodies, they looted the room. They cut their way down to the vault, and Arya blasted a hole in the door, and they looted the vault. They killed everyone they saw. They looted the alchemy lab, the library, and the bookkeeping ledgers. The stonekin ship picked up all the loot and the team. They moved offshore a little, and 4 guns blazed until there was nothing but rubble where the Black and White building had once stood. The golden sword spoke to Hassan, "Your quest is complete; the reward the gods will give is coming." Hassan said, "This sword says they are all dead."
Wicket's mother's name was Welbi, and they spent a week with her. Sorting out the two businesses that weren't sold, counting up what was taken, and splitting it. Half went with Tyrion back to King's Landing, worth some 18 million gold coins. A small ship arrived, with Wicket, and several serving maids, accompanied by a solid guard group. 6 million gold coins were added to the vault at the Iron Bank. A large amount was left with Wicket and her mother to live well on and to pay the help. A large bribe was also paid to the Sea Lords to watch over those two and aid them if they needed it. 10 million was carried back to Brandon's Rest, on top of the other treasure they found in the wreck. It took them three weeks to make it back home.
The young Amanian royal was flabbergasted when the treasure showed up. He commissioned an opulent Amanian building across from the ship hall. It was three stories tall and had every amenity. It had a covered walkway to the ship hall on the second story, so even though it wasn't directly connected to the underground passages, it had access.
Hassan was sitting in a tavern with the other assassins, drinking, when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and found a stunningly beautiful blonde woman smiling at him. She said, "My name is Thea, and the gods have sent me to thee. I am not flesh and blood, but I can fight by your side and heal you." Hassan was stunned; she was so bright that it was like a sun was in the room with him. She added, "The will and thoughts of the sword are in me now, so it will no longer speak to you. I will be your conduit to the gods." He asked her if she would tone down her appearance, and she complied. This was going to be interesting, to say the least. The other assassins began to tease him endlessly, and he took it with a good-natured smile.
