The parley ground is the open space between the court's eastern gate and the tree line, neither inside the King's territory nor fully outside it, the specific neutral geography of a meeting that both sides need to happen and neither side fully trusts yet. The group arranged itself the way it arranges itself when there's a threat that is being approached rather than retreated from — Aphrodite at the center, twins flanking, Cassian and Bastien at the edges, Lyra behind and to the left.
I'm not in that arrangement.
