POV: Draco
The weight of what I just did hits me as the adrenaline fades.
I watch Aphrodite talking quietly with Lyra, her posture exhausted but determined. The morning sun catches in her white hair, making it glow like moonlight. Powerful. Terrifying. Beautiful in a way that makes my chest ache.
I just defied Nightfang Pack publicly. Stood against the Alpha's enforcer, one of the most feared wolves in pack hierarchy. Chose Aphrodite over my birthright, my future, everything I was raised to become.
And I don't regret it.
Not for a second.
The realization should shake me. Should make me question my sanity. I threw away my claim to Alpha status, my position in pack hierarchy, my entire life's purpose. For a girl I used to mock. A girl I helped break.
But when I search inside myself for regret, all I find is relief.
