Yin and Yan were done going through the strenuous activities of purchasing from the mortal market.
Yan simply couldn't handle the affairs without getting irritated and lashing out at the mortals. So Yin was the one doing most of the work.
He spoke softly and gently to the sellers while bargaining with them. Even when a poor kid had walked up to them to give him something to eat, Yan wanted to send the little one away, irritated.
But Yin gently pulled the child closer with a warm smile. Not caring about how dirty the kid was, he handed her some buns and money to get something for herself.
"Make good use of it," Yin smiled at the kid as she bowed down to Yin.
"Thank you, little saint!" The kid appreciated as she turned and ran off with what she got. Yin got up to his feet, watching the kid leave with a smile.
All the while, Yan casually watched him. He couldn't help but notice the side of Yin he hadn't seen before. The soft and caring side of him.
