Ren smiled at the question. "Good. I guess. How else could I possibly feel?"
Ming slowly nodded as she said, "That's good. I just wish you two a long life of happiness... Even though everything doesn't last forever. But still." She sighed.
Ren nodded. His expression faded a bit at the thought of not lasting forever with Zuran. The thought hit him, but he managed a smile.
"By the way, why do you need the herb? Are you trying to save someone?" Ming casually asked.
Ren hesitated and then nodded. "Yes, we are."
Ming ran the fan through her face as she said, "Then I hope you save this person."
And so they continued their journey ahead, quietly with smiles while admiring the scenery around.

They had arrived at the destination. Before them was the huge gate, the entrance to the Sun Pavilion where the meeting was being held.
All Ren had to do now was make his way through this gate, and he would be able to meet the Duke in the pavilion.
