Kong Mingan's breathing hitched slightly as his mind raced. After he thought about Attribute Guided Evolution, his inspiration did not stop. Instead, it continued to spread and grow like a wildfire. Very quickly, within just one or two breaths, Kong Mingan thought of another clever way to use a spirit ring to evolve a Spirit.
He decided to call it the qi and blood soul ring. In the Condensing Soul Ring Method created by Electrolux, condensing a spirit ring usually requires the user's spirit power. However, at its core, what is really needed is pure Energy.
He realized that qi and blood power and Bloodline Power are also forms of Energy. This realization provided plenty of room for him to manipulate the process, especially since the concept of a qi and blood soul ring already existed in some forms.
By combining these two ideas, using a qi and blood soul ring to guide the evolution of a Spirit became a real possibility. He thought that weaving a spirit ring using one's own qi and blood power and Bloodline Power for others to absorb was absolutely feasible. If someone could absorb such a ring, their Spirit would surely evolve.
For example, he considered Mu En. Suppose Mu En extracts his own Bloodline Power, which contains the holy power of the Holy Light Dragon, and condenses it into a special qi and blood soul ring for Beibei to absorb.
He wondered if Beibei's Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Spirit would change. After fusing with this special qi and blood soul ring derived from a top-tier Spirit of the same lineage, Beibei might be able to stabilize his Holy Light Dragon Bloodline directly.
This could cause his unique Blue Lightning Holy Light Tyrant Dragon to transform or even evolve directly into a true Holy Light Dragon. To Kong Mingan, this seemed completely feasible and logical.
It is well known that the loss of Bloodline Power is not permanent. For the vast majority of powerful individuals, this power is recoverable and renewable over time. Even if these experts do not want to give up their core Bloodline Power all at once, they can take a much simpler route.
They could merely extract and preserve their blood over a longer period. By drawing a small amount of blood every day until they have a large quantity, the Bloodline Power within that blood can be extracted and used to create the qi and blood soul ring. In this way, there would be no negative impact on the health of these powerful individuals.
He thought of Da Ming and Er Ming as perfect examples. They are currently staying in the Undead Demiplane. Their daily routine involves guarding the area while having their blood drawn for research. Yet, despite having their blood drawn every single day, both of them are still full of energy.
They show no signs of weakness or illness due to the blood loss. Clearly, if his idea could be realized, it would mean that top-tier powerhouses could contribute a portion of their blood to extract Bloodline Power. They could create exclusive spirit rings customized for their children or students. These rings could guide a Spirit to evolve toward a specific Bloodline direction.
For certain Spirit Master Families, this discovery would almost guarantee a stable Spirit Legacy for every generation. For ordinary civilian Spirit Masters, it would be even more life-changing. It would mean breaking the shackles of the cultivation Bottleneck caused by having a low-quality Spirit.
It would finally give them the possibility of climbing to higher ranks like Spirit King or even Spirit Douluo. Thinking up to this point, Kong Mingan paused. His expanding thoughts connected to an even grander and more exciting possibility.
If this method were shared with everyone, the future development of Spirit Masters would no longer be limited by the Spirit they were born with. The transformation of a Spirit could be achieved by scientifically matching man-made spirit rings from different Attributes and Bloodline sources. It would be like assembling building blocks.
A person would absorb spirit rings step by step, guiding their Spirit to evolve and transform in the exact direction they wanted. This means that a completely new, visualized, and programmable Spirit Evolution Sequence becomes possible.
Furthermore, he imagined some interesting situations that might arise in this new world. He could hear people saying things like, "Yu Xiaogang was right, there are no trash Spirits, only Spirit Masters who don't know how to plan their Spirit Evolution Sequence!" Students might shout, "I will strive and research for a hundred days because I want my Spirit to evolve!" Friends might beg each other, "Please, brother, share your Spirit Evolution Sequence with me, I need it urgently!" It seemed like an era where everyone could improve their Spirit quality was right around the corner.
Kong Mingan's eyes flickered with excitement. However, after a moment, he stopped and his expression became slightly strange. He thought of a very important point, and this point concerned Spirit Beasts. Among Spirit Masters, Beast Spirit Masters make up a huge portion of the population.
Many of these Beast Spirit Masters have Spirits that are relatively mediocre or weak. If this group of people wanted their Spirits to evolve, they would definitely need a large amount of Materials to create the qi and blood soul ring.
There are many ways to get these Materials. One could buy the blood of powerful people, which would be expensive. Or, in a more extreme and dark scenario, people might hunt other Spirit Masters like an Evil Soul Master would.
They could seize all their blood to extract Bloodline Power and condense a ring. Among all these methods, there is only one that is relatively low-risk and would not lead to being hunted as a criminal: hunting Spirit Beasts.
Humans generally feel no guilt when they kill Spirit Beasts. Even if a person kills many, as long as their own Spirit is fine, others would only think the person is bloodthirsty. They would never call him an Evil Soul Master for killing beasts. Once this theory is made public, it is easy to see that a tide of Spirit Beast hunting will begin.
People will target Advanced Bloodline Spirit Beasts with more greed than ever before. The hunting will be far more frenzied and efficient than the current situation. The extinction rate of Spirit Beasts will increase so fast that they might all disappear.
Kong Mingan involuntarily clicked his tongue softly. Not long ago, he felt that his work regarding the mutual conversion between humans and Spirit Beasts might make him a hero of peace.
However, not long after that thought, he realized his new idea might cause a war. Truly, the world is unpredictable. Of course, he knew he had to be responsible with his power. As the Child of Destiny, he could not do something so immoral that it destroyed the balance of the world.
Looking back, ever since he completely purified the Soul-Devouring Carving Knife, he felt like the world was helping him. Electrolux appeared from a sudden spatial rift, he found the Thorny Dragon that perfectly suited his needs, and even the Snow Empress appeared a few years earlier than expected.
The plane will truly spoon-fed him everything he needed to succeed. He wasn't an ungrateful person. He knew he had to give something back to the world. If he truly spread this method, the mass slaughter of Spirit Beasts would become a heavy burden on the world itself.
He decided that it is fine to research this method, but it cannot be spread to the public. If everyone knew, something would definitely go wrong. However, he felt the part concerning Attribute guided transformation could be tested first.
Kong Mingan pondered, deciding that this matter could be handed over to the Mingmeng Chamber of Commerce. They could work on achieving results first, and then he could discuss the details with Ju Zi later.
After a slight pause, Kong Mingan raised his eyes and looked at the petite girl sitting on the workbench beside him. Immediately, his gaze met a pair of golden eyes. She had clearly been watching him the whole time.
The Ice Empress just stared at him in silence. The atmosphere felt still for a second or two. Then, the Ice Empress glared fiercely at Kong Mingan and asked why he was looking at her.
Kong Mingan grumbled to himself about how she was acting, but he skillfully reached out his hand toward her. He told her to give him some of her blood, and he asked for the kind that contained plenty of Bloodline Power.
He explained that he needed it to run an experiment. The Ice Empress was extremely angry. She asked if he thought she would just give it away because he asked. She felt like he was treating her like she was easy to boss around.
Kong Mingan looked at her calmly. He simply told her that the blood would count as Value Points for her. The Ice Empress fell silent and said nothing more. After waiting for a moment, she slit her fingertip.
A single drop of blood that was incredibly cold fell and floated over Kong Mingan's palm. He looked at it and told her it was not enough and that he needed more. The Ice Empress gnashed her teeth in anger.
But when she thought of the Value Points she needed to become a god, she decided to endure it. She chose to swallow her pride for now. She told herself that when she becomes strong in the future, she will beat him and make him pay for this.
