Lucian looked around; he was back in the dark space, but everything was different right now.
There was light but it wasn't from the first whisp, this was something entirely different.
It looked like a larger version of a light crystal as it hung there illuminating him.
Lucian's gaze didn't leave the light, it was as though something was compelling him to take it, mesmerising him.
The urge was so strong that he felt his body unconsciously step forward but he gritted his teeth and restrained himself.
"You should take it."
"What is it?"
"You'll know when you touch it."
A small mysterious chuckle came. Lucian stepped forward and touched the crystals.
No reaction.
A few moments of studying it yielded no result. The urge to take it had not disappeared it was still there.
Lucian did the only thing he could think of, he squeezed it. The crystal shattered into pieces.
