"How was the meeting with the king?"
I asked mother. She had arrived in the capital two days ago, but unfortunately, I was at the academy and unable to welcome her. This will be our first meeting after more than two months of separation.
She was sitting on the head chair in the dining room looking just as regal, wearing a red dinner dress that left nothing to the imagination. Her red hair was tied in a messy bun and her eyes glowed redder under the light crystals.
Seraph was seated opposite me, just as beautiful in her black dinner dress that fully covered her breasts, unlike mother. Her hair was left flowing over her shoulders.
"The seventh prince and the saintess are getting engaged. "
She calmly said. I placed my fork down and turned my full attention to her. This was not great news.
"I've been hearing rumours around the capital, but I thought it was nothing more than rumours since they spent most of their time together. I should have guessed"
