"Look, Satoru-kun... It's snowing."
Satoru looked at the sky. It was actually snowing.
"Snow is very relaxing," he said. "Don't you think so, Itsuka?"
"Yeah, Satoru-kun," Itsuka replied. "Snow is beautiful. Just like you."
"Our graduation is in three months," Satoru said as he gently cupped a snowflake in his hands. "Are you sure about your choice, Itsuka?"
"Yes," Itsuka replied. "What about you, Satoru-kun?"
"Yeah, definitely sure," Satoru said. "I'm gonna graduate and become my brother's sidekick."
__________
Graduation Ceremony
All the third-years were standing in the courtyard, waiting to receive their diplomas.
"And now, we'll give you your graduations!" Present Mic announced as he managed the music. "C'mon now, come get it!"
"Congratulations!" Principal Nezu said as Satoru took his diploma. "Without you, the world won't be the one it is now."
"Arigatou gozaimasu," Satoru said, inclining his head. "But this world was created by all of us, not just me."
"Yeah," Principal Nezu tilted his head. "You're very right!"
Everyone else then took their diploma. Satoru glanced at the crowd of teachers clapping their hands and saw that Vlad King was moved.
Vlad-sensei... he thought in his mind. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher than you.
"And now, let's welcome the representative of the graduates!" Present Mic announced. "Dark Matter a.k.a. Satoru Akiyama!"
Crap, I'm not good at making speeches... Satoru thought as he walked on the stage and leaned on the mic. He was a bit nervous.
"Thanks for welcoming me to this school, everyone," he began. "These three years have slipped like jelly to me, I swear. Even if I didn't take this engagement in this school seriously at first, now I've fully embraced it, and I couldn't be happier to be speaking in front of everyone now."
He glanced at Izuku, who gave him a thumbs-up. Then he continued.
"We went through the hard times together and rose again stronger. And now we're here, in this splendid graduation ceremony. I'm not very good at speeches, so I'll just say... thank you. For everything."
Everyone clapped their hands--especially Itsuka and Tetsutetsu.
"And now," Satoru said. "Let's celebrate!"
Boom!
Bakugo and Monoma crushed through the wall behind Satoru.
"It's our turn now!" Bakugo exclaimed.
"It was programmed, I swear," Satoru said. Hell no, it wasn't.
As he was walking in line with his class, Satoru noticed someone in the crowd: his brother, Oro.
I knew he would've come, Satoru thought.
Oro looked pretty happy and moved. They smiled at each other.
(My story began that day, without me even knowing. That day, if I had rejected All For One's order and decided not to join U.A., none of this would have happened. I would either be buried underground or forever in prison for minors. That's why, in some way, I'm also a bit--JUST A BIT, I swear--grateful to All For One. Do not Rest in Peace, piece of shit.)
(Why do I keep writing, you say? Well, of course, because this final chapter isn't finished yet.)
__________
8 years later
A Villain was tormenting the streets of Musutafu. The civilians screamed and ran away.
"Please, something, save us!" screamed a civilian.
A muscular figure suddenly appeared, and it was not the only one.
On the right side, a man with sky-blue hair, brown eyes, a green costume with a red cross in the middle, and an 'O' on the back and front of his costume.
On the left side, his sidekick had straight red hair that covered his eyebrows, yellow eyes, a grey scarf, amphibious boots, a black jacket, and a green undershirt.
They were Hikaru and Satoru, now respectively 35 and 25 years old.
"Guess who's still the Number One Hero after eight years, huh?" Oro laughed. "Me, of course!"
"Oro and Dark Matter are here!" a civilian exhaled a breath of relief.
"Let me handle this, Aniki!" Satoru said as he dashed towards the Villain. "Dark Smash!"
The Villain was taken out with one blow.
"All of those Quirks, and you still use your birth one?" Oro crossed his arms and smiled. "Not complaining, though, as long as it works."
"You know my favorite Quirk to use is Umbrakinesis, even after all this time," Satoru inserted his hands in his pockets and said. "Anyway, wanna go take a break and grab something to eat?"
"Yeah, sure," Hikaru said. "I'm starving. It's full of Heroes: no one will die if we take a break for once."
Hikaru and Satoru jumped onto the roof of a house.
"Are you still in good bonds with your classmates and friends?" Oro asked.
"Yeah," Satoru replied. "I often visit Izuku at U.A. and frequently meet Dynamight and Shoto during my alone work."
"Thanks for affording to work alone sometimes, Ototo," Hikaru said. "You know I have a lot of things to do recently."
"Don't worry," said Satoru. "If I, the brother and sidekick of the Number One Hero, don't stop criminality, then who will? We don't want to lose to Lemillion, do we?"
"No, we don't," said Hikaru with a smile. "I talk to Young Dynamight and the others very often. He's still a fan of me, even after he graduated."
There was a moment of silence between the two brothers until Oro spoke up again.
"Have you ever thought about changing your Hero name into 'Mato'?"
"What are you talking about, Aniki?" Satoru said. "Mato was my Villain name, I can't use it for being a Hero..."
"Who told you so?" Hikaru said. "Even if, I must say, Dark Matter is way cooler than Mato."
Satoru smiled. "How's your relationship with Mirko going?"
"Happily married and both active," Oro replied. "What about your relationship with Young Battle Fist?"
"It's going well," Satoru replied. "You'll be my best man at my wedding, just like I was your best man at your wedding."
"You can bet on it," Oro said.
"Oh, by the way, I've got something to show you," Mato said as he unlocked his phone. "Look at this."
"That's..." Oro muttered. "That's the picture we took in front of U.A. the first time we met, eight years ago... you kept it for this entire time? You never deleted it?"
"Never, how could I?" Satoru said. "I'm still keeping the graduation photo with all of my classmates, of course, I'm keeping the one with my brother from the days I was a teenager."
"Ah, the good ol' days..." Oro muttered. "I'm 35 now, I'm getting old..."
"You're not old at 35," Satoru said.
"Probably not," Oro said. "But I can't say I'm not starting to feel the years' weight."
Satoru stopped for a minute. "Let's run, Aniki."
"Run?" Oro repeated.
"Yeah," Satoru confirmed. "Whoever arrives last at the restaurant pays."
"Deal."
The two brothers ran at supersonic speed.
(And so this is the conclusion of my story, guys. Thanks for following it. I promise I'll be a good Pro Hero.)
(Now that I think about it, I miss my Villain name Mato. Sometimes I look at the sky and miss Tomura, Toya, and Himiko-chan. But that's not a problem. I still have that scarf, if you're wondering. And yes, I still have All For One.)
(I'll leave you with this phrase. This is the story of how WE became the greatest Heroes.)
(Watch out, Villains, because we are Oro & Mato.)
The End.
