This story follows the dark path taken by one who obtained a fate wounded by celestial neglect. Between his misfortune on Earth, and the exploits on Atherion, our protagonist Zay here, he'll give you the story of a lifetime....
Earth is just as we have it now, bland and corrupt... though there are some good noodles. Atherion is a fantasy world that is pretty much what you'll find in any other story, magic and melee where fighting prowess governs the masses.

There are stages in which the Atherionians cultivate their skill levels among all races. Within the bodies of these beings, every humanoid creature with a pulse has a Master Core. There are 3 core classes, The base race (human, elf, dwarf, demihuman, demon), Warrior, and God Slayer; the cultivation levels within them are Amateur, Master, and Ascended. The aura around a person acts as a beacon, expressing their class and level. From Amateur race to Ascended Godslayer, the auras surrounding the body darkens with each ascension and is colored depending on their lifestyle, (red for martial artists, green for agricultural workers, gold for merchants, purple for royalty, white for medical workers and first responders, and black for murderers and dangerous criminals- the source of the aura is in the subconscious, aura only able to be altered once reaching the warrior stage). Regarding the power scaling- in order of level:
Amateur Human- Street
Master Human- Building
Ascended Human- Block/Neighborhood
Amateur Warrior- City
Master Warrior- Kingdom
Ascended Warrior- Continent
Amateur God Slayer- Planetary
Master God Slayer- Galaxy

Aethervein
Regarding the mages, a mage is born with or develops an Aethervein by the age of 11, which acts as a secondary core that allows for a mage to use magic from elemental to space time magic, as well as outlive non god slayer fighter. With similar cultivation requirements and stages, you can assume that there will be people that decide to cultivate both, named Battlemages, labeled to Paragons once at the warrior level.
