The attack struck Lorex's chest armor.

The impact exploded across the battlefield.

Lorex was thrown backward like a cannonball.

He crashed into the ground and rolled several meters.

The battlefield became quiet.

Lorex tried to stand.

He pushed himself up slowly.

Then he laughed weakly.

"Now I understand how all the other Red Knights got knocked out after one punch from you," he said as he slowly stood.

"You place your aura inside your opponent with each strike that hit the body. Then, when enough of it accumulates, you detonate it, releasing the power from inside the body and defeating your opponent."

As he spoke, a reddish aura began to rise from his body.

"But I can do that too," Lorex continued. "So it won't be easy for you to use the same trick on me."

Alan looked at him calmly.

His health bar was still above 40%.

'He saw through the Aura Detonation,' Alan thought.

The Frost King Aura allowed him to leave marks on his enemies with each strike. He could place up to twenty marks.

Each mark dealt true damage equal to his Strength stat when detonated.

Since his current Strength stat was 6,960, detonating twenty marks at once would cause enormous internal damage.

However, to be sure he only used the skill when the target's health dropped to 50% or lower.

After some earlier exchanges, Lorex health was dropped to that point yet he only took 10% damage.

'I guess aura damage can also be resisted by someone with strong aura control,' Alan thought.

He remembered something from the novels.

Even Piaro had once stopped a Hurent Aura Mark attack with his hand plow.

Alan looked at Lorex again.

Then he suddenly laughed.

"You really are a good one," Alan said.

Cold mist flowed around his body.

The Frost King Aura gathered in his right hand.

The icy blue aura stretched outward and quickly formed into a large greatsword made completely of frost.

The blade was almost as tall as Lorex.

Alan lifted it easily with one hand.

"Come," Alan said calmly.

"Entertain me more."

Lorex smiled when he saw that.

"So now you're getting serious."

His reddish aura burned stronger around his body.

Heat spread across the ground under his feet.

Both of his axes glowed faintly red.

Then—

Both of them moved at the same time.

Boom!

Alan stepped forward and swung the frost greatsword.

The massive blade cut through the air like a falling glacier.

Lorex crossed his two axes.

Clang!!!

The collision exploded with a huge shockwave.

Ice and heat burst outward in every direction.

The ground cracked under both of them.

Lorex was pushed backward three steps.

But he quickly stabilized himself.

Then he spun his body and attacked.

Boom!

His axe struck the frost blade with explosive force.

Alan's sword slid slightly to the side.

Lorex followed with another attack.

Boom! Boom!

Both axes moved rapidly now.

Each strike carried volcanic force.

Alan swung the frost greatsword again.

Clang! Boom!

The huge blade smashed against the axes.

The impact forced Lorex to jump backward.

But he rushed forward again immediately.

His fighting style was aggressive and powerful.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His axes crashed into Alan's sword again and again.

Each strike released bursts of heat.

Steam filled the battlefield as frost and fire clashed constantly.

The watching Red Knights stared in silence.

The battlefield shook with every collision.

Alan swung his sword in a wide arc.

Boom!

Lorex blocked with both axes.

But the power behind the strike forced him to slide several meters across the ground.

Alan didn't stop.

He stepped forward again.

The frost greatsword came down like a falling mountain.

Boom!!!

Lorex rolled to the side.

The sword smashed into the ground and froze the earth instantly.

Ice spread across the battlefield.

Lorex jumped forward again and swung both axes at Alan's chest.

Boom!

Alan blocked with the flat of the sword.

The impact shook the blade.

But Alan's strength was overwhelming.

He pushed forward.

Lorex suddenly jumped into the air.

His aura flared violently.

Both axes burned red.

Then he roared and swung them down together.

"Volcanic Cleave!"

Boom!!!

The explosion shook the battlefield.

Dust and steam filled the air.

The watching knights held their breath.

Then—

A large figure walked out of the smoke.

Alan.

His frost greatsword was still intact.

Only small cracks appeared on the icy blade.

Alan smiled.

"Good attack."

Then he disappeared.

Lorex's eyes widened.

Alan suddenly appeared in front of him.

The frost greatsword moved.

Boom!!!

Lorex barely managed to block with both axes.

But the impact was too heavy.

The ground broke under his feet.

Alan didn't give him time.

The sword swung again.

Boom!

Then again.

Boom!

Each strike grew heavier.

Lorex tried to block again and again.

Clang! Boom! Clang!

But his arms began to shake.

His aura flickered.

Alan raised the greatsword one more time.

Then he stepped forward and swung with full strength.

Boom!!!

Lorex crossed his axes to block.

But the frost greatsword shattered his defense.

The blade slammed into his armor.

The impact launched him across the battlefield.

He crashed into the ground and rolled several times.

His axes slipped from his hands.

The battlefield fell silent again.

Lorex tried to stand.

But his body wouldn't move.

He laughed weakly.

"…You win."

Then he collapsed.

Alan stood quietly in the center of the battlefield.

The frost greatsword slowly dissolved back into cold mist around his arm.

Now only two Red Knights remained.

The 2nd Red Knight.

And the 1st Red Knight.

Alan looked at the 2nd Red Knight, a handsome man with black hair.

"Lucas, is it?" Alan asked.

The man nodded.

"Yes. I will be your next opponent. But if you need rest, you can take it. After all, you had quite a battle with Sir Lorex," Lucas said as he looked at Alan's body, which now had several scorch marks and cut wounds.

Lorex had managed to deal some damage.

"Don't worry about it. They're just scratches," Alan said nonchalantly.

But in truth, he had lost over 40% of his health while fighting Lorex.

'This is the highest amount of health I've lost since fighting Hell Gao,' Alan thought.
