Elwyn's POV,
But just as I took a bite, my mouth suddenly went dry, and the cookie crumbs got stuck in my throat. I couldn't breathe, helplessly coughing, trying to swallow but couldn't.
Jackie noticed immediately, his hand quickly resting on my shoulder, concern flashing across his eyes. "Elwyn, are you okay?"
I could only shake my head, struggling to catch my breath, the choking sensation making me panic even more. Jackie gently patted my back and pulled a water bottle from his bag, handing it to me.
"Drink slowly," his voice was calm, but I could feel the worry in his eyes. I took the bottle and drank a few sips, feeling my throat gradually relax.
When I finally calmed down, Jackie sighed with relief. "You need to be more careful," he said gently, though there was a hint of playful reproach. "Don't rush like that next time."
