Jackie laughed, running a hand through his disheveled hair, beads of sweat glistening on his forehead. "Yeah, crazy. But... so worth it," he said, his voice filled with pride and a touch of mischief.
I couldn't help but laugh along with him, feeling all the worries and tension from the night melt away. We both sat there, leaning against the alley wall, our laughter echoing in the stillness of the night.
As our breathing steadied, I looked over at Jackie and softly asked, "What do you think they'll do next?"
Jackie shrugged, smiling lightly. "They'll definitely come looking for us, or at least think someone's pulling a prank on them. But don't worry, we got away clean. No one recognized us."
I nodded, the sense of relief and excitement still pulsing through me. No matter how the night had turned out, I knew I would never forget this moment—this moment of facing my fears with Jackie, pushing past my limits to create an unforgettable memory.
