Swoosh!
Maki surged forward faster than anyone could react. She went from the start of the barracks, all the way to the end, in under a second, and before anyone could react.
Maki stood upright and still like a steel rod. The entire building was washed and eerie red in silence, so silent that you could hear a pin drop. Everything looked the same.
But strangely, Kimitsu was draped in blood.
Drip~
Drip~
Fresh warm blood dripped from the sharp tip of Kimitsu onto the wooden floorboards, creating an eerie silence from the dripping.
Looking back over her shoulders, Maki could not help but watch her piece of work with an unusually unhinged grin on her face, a maniacal light in her gaze.
"Ugh..."
The first sound to be heard came from the first Kukuru member that Maki had slashed down in the middle.
His eyes rolled up in two different directions before his entire body separated from the middle, blood spurting out on both sides like a fountain.p
Then came the domino effect.
Member after member fell to the ground with dull but loud thuds. Blood flew all over, painting the ground and splashing the walls, but either way, there was no spot left unpainted on the floor.
Everybody was either split in half down or sideways. Thorats were sliced so deeply that only the skin on the back of their neck held their head to their body, or sliced down the chest, cutting the ribs and hearts in half.
The Kukuru members watched all this on the second floor, frozen in fear and disbelief as the members were killed before they could even move by the women whom they all used to look down on.
Maki turned towards the second floor, her grip on Kimitsu tightening before letting it drop, her hand now holding the chain of the Chain of a Thousand Miles.
Swoosh!
Maki started spinning the chain with Kimitsu attached to the end.
The sound it created was sharp, as if a Helicopter was right in the building. A mini storm started gathering around Maki, only for it to suddenly accelerate.
Boom!
A sonic boom was heard across the estate as the swirling sword accelerated even more, and a continuous stream of bursting air was ejected from the three holes in the blade of Kimitsu.
Then the screams came as they turned and tried to flee, only for nothing as Maki attacked.
BOOOOOM!!!
The entire building exploded into debris and pieces of wood mixed with blood and bone fragments.
A crater dozens of meters in diameter exploded onto the ground, erasing the Kukuru Unit barracks from existence, along with everyone except Maki inside it.
"Phoo..."
Letting out a deep breath as Kimitsu hung from the chain, the tip stabbed into the red ground. Maki relaxed for a second, her body and vision obscured by the massive dust cloud.
Rumble!
"!"
Maki suddenly tensed as she felt the ground vibrate intensely. It was sudden, hidden by the dust, and her guard was down for a moment, allowing the attacker to succeed.
Boom!
A massive pair of hands erupted from the ground, kicking up thousands of tons of dirt and stone everywhere. A massive shockwave struck the estate, kicking up dirt and trees.
Maki narrowed her eyes, looking through the dust onto the ground, her eyes locking with a fear-filled Chojuro. Chojuro trembled at the look in Maki's eyes.
Chojuro controlled the hands that were dozens of meters high above the Zenin estate, and weighing thousands of tons, to clap.
Boom!
The clap created a thunderous sonic boom that levelled the entire area from the shockwave, razing a third of the Zenin Clan estate to the ground in seconds.
Blood from the massacre shot out on either side of the now praying hands, coating the ground even dozens of kilometres away in red.
"Is she dead?..." Chojuro muttered to himself with bursting hope as he watched the hands in the sky stay perfectly still. His ageing lines are still trembling.
Behind Chojuro, Naobito gritted his teeth in pain as he looked at the destroyed area, which would cost a penny to rebuild.
Boom!
The top of the praying hands burst apart from extreme force, sending boulder-sized debris flying into the distance. The boulders smashed more buildings apart with force.
"Looks like she is not dead..." Jinichi muttered with shaking hands as he looked up at the now palmless stone arms, where Maki stood without a scratch on her.
"Ranta!"
Naobito turned to Ranta, who immediately paled in despair as he fixed his eyes on Maki, who was watching them with disinterest, slowly pulling Kimitsu into her hand by the chain.
"I got it, Naobito-san!"
Ranta gained some false confidence as he used his cursed energy with a confidence that bordered on suicide. Ranta knew about Toji Zenin, and so he knew if he didn't try, it would be the end of him anyway.
Boom!
"Huh?"
Maki suddenly froze, her step halting mid-air as a pair of giant dark eyes manifested right above her. They stared at her, freezing her in place with a force field and crushing the ground.
Swoosh!
Maki watched as Naobito ran up the pair of arms as if gravity were a joke to him. Jinichi vanished from the ground, jumping into the air with a reinforced jump, his hand pulled back, and his hair flying fiercely.
Boom!
Maki grinned as she pushed against the force field binding her. The aperture of Ranta's eyes cracked gruellingly, leaking blood from the seams of his eyes.
He fell onto his knees in pain.
"AGHHH!"
Ranta gasped in unbelievable pain on the ground and on his knees, and began to bleed heavily from his eyes, his vision almost fully red as Maki increased the force she was pushing against his force field.
Swish!
Naobito rushed through the forefield and past Maki, touching her shoulder and turning Maki into a freeze frame. Naobito turned and jumped into the air, his fist pulled back alongside Jinichi.
"Jinichi-san! Naobito-san! Please kill her once and for all! Or the Zenin Clan will cease to exist!"
Ranta screamed to the sky as blood spurted out from his eyes, strong whirwinds erupting from Maki's position.
Naobito and Jinichi heard Ranta, and both of them knew it even better than he did, so they did not need to be reminded of it.
Strong cursed energy exploded out from the two as Jinichi and Naobito pushed their maximum potential to explode. They condensed their cursed energy before using their cursed techniques.
But it wasn't over.
'For our life, the potency of our next attack will be amplified!' Both Naobito and Jinichi thought to themself, making a binding vow on the spot, erasing everything to gain the chance to kill Maki.
"Missile Fist!" Jinichi muttered.
Boom!
Tens of pink fists created from cursed energy, each fist the size of trucks, ejecting cursed energy from behind to boost their speed and power, erupted like bullets from a Machine gun.
"Molecular Crush!"
Naobito was not to be left behind; his punch froze the air molecules in front of him, frozen into 24 frames.
His strike crushed those frozen frames, causing a massive burst of concentrated beam of shockwaves to rush down towards Maki alongside the missile fists, right as Maki was unfrozen from the frame.
"Do it! Kill herrrr!!!" Ranta screamed desperately.
Splash!
Ranta's eyes exploded out of his skull, bringing along brain matter as he slumped forward, slumping onto his knees. Instantly, Maki broke free from the force field holding her.
It was too late as Jinichi and Naobito's attacks arrived too fast for Maki to be able to dodge out of the way.
No loud sound, except a flash of light, appeared before an explosion akin to an atomic bomb went off.
The entire Zenin Clan estate was broken and razed to the ground, blowing a crater hundreds of meters in radius into the ground.
The shockwave extended for thousands of meters, snapping trees, breaking the ground, and hurling boulders away at high speed.
Akira and Kenjaku watched this from outside the now-razed estate, shielding their eyes from the massive blast of wind and shockwaves as they watched Maki.
Bleeding from her mouth and her bones cracked in some places, she walked out from the explosion and dust, holding Chojuro's head in her hand, blood seeping from the neck.
Thud~
Maki threw the head away like trash before walking to Akira, who had Mai in his hand since she would have been blown away otherwise by the winds from the explosion.
"Thanks for looking after her," Maki said with the tiniest of smiles as she took Mai carefully from Akira's hand, before holding her in a pricness carry.
"Don't mention it," Akira smiled as he shook his head.
