Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 — The First Pull

"Thank you for the compliment, Goddess," Levi replied playfully as he got dressed.

"It wasn't a compliment!" Hestia slapped his arm, her expression turning stern. "Remember, don't you dare tell anyone else about your Falna details."

"Don't worry, I'm no innocent lamb."

Usually, an adventurer registers with the Guild immediately after receiving a Falna. But Levi didn't want to make two trips, mostly because he didn't want to be caught by Eina for another "lecture" that would waste his whole day. Instead, he headed straight for the Dungeon. This wasn't recklessness; he had already mapped out the first five floors over the past two weeks. Being steady, he had no intention of going deeper until his stats were at least Rank E or D.

"...So, that's why you waited until evening to register as an adventurer?"

Behind the counter, Eina pushed up her glasses. Her voice was gentle, yet it carried an icy, spine-chilling edge.

Levi sat on the other side, filling out his forms. "An adventurer should never take unnecessary risks. I took your advice to heart, Miss Eina."

"..." Eina didn't know how to argue with that. Calling him reckless seemed wrong, given he stayed on the shallow floors. Calling him cautious seemed equally wrong, given he'd been hunting monsters before even having a God.

With a sigh, she pulled a booklet from her drawer. "This is the Guild's compiled monster encyclopedia and maps for the first 18 floors. Take it and memorize it. I'll be testing your progress tomorrow."

"Understood." Levi accepted the kindness. He truly needed information on the lower floors for his next big step.

Most low-level adventurers crowded the first ten floors, with the first five being the most congested. For someone like Levi, who wanted to maximize his "gold farming" efficiency, the competition was a bit much. That said, with his knowledge of monster anatomy, he could easily kill Goblins and Kobolds without damaging their magic stones, ensuring every fight was profitable.

Over the next eight days, Levi's wealth quietly accumulated to over 190,000 Valis. His actual stats, however, only grew by 2 or 3 points due to his high base potential and the weakness of his enemies. He knew his natural talent couldn't compare to the top-tier geniuses of Orario, let alone the protagonist, Bell Cranel.

Luckily, he was a cheater.

System, show me what you've got!

Back at the headquarters after a shower and dinner, Levi opened the Genshin Impact banner, set a "Vision" as his target, and thought: My turn... Draw!

10,000 Valis vanished instantly. Ten streaks of light—nine white and one green—flew across his vision.

[You obtained: Lv.1 Specified Stat Boost (+100) x1, Lv.1 Specified Stat Boost (+10) x5, Skill Proficiency Boost (10 days) x4.]

Knowing his luck was usually "un-lucky," Levi wasn't disappointed. He went for a second multi-pull.

Whoosh! Nine white, one green. Whoosh! Nine white, one green. Whoosh! Eight white, two green...

After eighty pulls, not a single 3-Star item had appeared.

My luck is truly something... Levi sighed and pressed the button for the ninth multi-pull.

Suddenly, a blue meteor streaked across his vision, surrounded by white and green lights. Wait... two blue lights!

Levi sat up straight, a smirk forming. "Heh, looks like even a luckless bastard like me has a chance to cross the border into Europe."

The lights burst, and the system notifications rang in his ears:
