Chapter 327 - GAM Ch 327: Not My Problem, Send Him to Kamar Taj

"If His Majesty King Pendragon does not mind, I would like to become your apprentice."

Garfield waved his paw to lift Horace Slughorn up.

"No need for apprenticeship. You and the old bee are friends. I am also friends with him. Let us just be happy friends."

Horace Slughorn wanted to become an apprentice so he could later trick Garfield into giving him a graduation gift.

Hmph.

Horace Slughorn, who considered himself exceptionally talented and incredibly intelligent, never dreamed that one day he would be rejected by a cat.

The reason for his refusal left him speechless.

Horace Slughorn was naturally unwilling to give up.

He tried again.

He knelt down again.

Garfield simply waved his hand, opening a portal that transported Horace Slughorn to the garden below.

Staring wide eyed at being transported to the garden, and being curiously watched by passing students for a while, Horace Slughorn realized what had happened.

He sighed helplessly.

"Sure enough, His Majesty King Pendragon's magic is formidable. He just waved his paw and teleported me to the garden. If I could become his apprentice... it seems the chance is gone."

However, the other party had offered advice and also said they could be friends.

It seemed this kneeling was not a complete loss.

Having figured it out, Horace Slughorn returned to the Great Hall with a smile, ready to have lunch.

Garfield shook his head.

"Headache. That Horace Slughorn is really something. Oh well, I will go home first and see how that troublemaker is doing."

Before opening the portal, Garfield had specifically left a message for Shrek.

He told Shrek that he would be going back to his home in the United States at noon and would return in the afternoon.

He also said that lunch could be reheated for dinner.

On the other side of the portal was his shop.

Lilith and Vivienne were minding it.

Upon seeing Garfield, they bowed respectfully.

"Welcome home, Master."

"How has the shop been these past few days?"

Lilith shook her head.

"No one who meets the criteria has come. But that white bearded human ghost, Roy, has come looking for you again."

Roy was that old cowboy detective from the Underworld Police Department.

He was a comedic character who died in the Western wilderness and whose remains were bullied for a long time by a wolf or some vulture.

Of course, his human form was the beautiful Victoria's Secret supermodel Marissa Miller.

If Garfield were not currently a cat and did not know that behind this beautiful woman was an old white bearded cowboy, he would definitely have taken her in as a decorative object.

Life as a cat was rarely perfect.

Maybe one or two out of ten things.

"Ignore him for now. The Underworld Police Department has nothing to do with us. If he has any trouble dealing with some deadbeat, just let our One Ear out."

Lilith and Vivienne naturally understood that One Ear was a large Anubis figurine in the corner.

Lilith nodded in understanding.

"Master, we understand. But someone from the Odd Jobs agency called hoping for help."

The Odd Jobs agency was a business Garfield created after returning from the Star Wars universe.

It was a modified version of his own name.

It was part of his business, mainly used to entertain himself when he was bored.

Being invincible was incredibly lonely.

Aside from the Purple Potato Spirit and Odin, who were like godfathers, he could practically roam freely on Earth.

"Who called the Odd Jobs agency or came knocking?"

Recalling the situation, Vivienne replied, "It seems like someone named Einstein came to our shop. He said that some empire in the future developed a time space teleportation device that caused chaos in the world. He hopes to obtain a time space device to restore history to normal."

Time space equals Einstein.

Was that not a similar plot to Red Alert 3?

That failed super IP.

Garfield was really excited when the game came out, but after playing it, he found it was not as fun as the second one.

Garfield scratched his head.

"So this Einstein is not related to the Manhattan Project, but is mixed up in the world of Red Alert 3. Does that mean there will still be an Avengers like scale in the future? The Rising Sun Empire. Hmph. With Garfield Pando Godzilla Pendragon here, you can forget about it."

"Where is Einstein? Where is he?"

Vivienne replied, "I heard he left while you were away. There are time space disturbances around him. Our abilities are limited, so we cannot track him down."

Vivienne's explanation confirmed Garfield's suspicion that the other person was from that world.

But it did not matter.

Since he had come once, he would come again.

✦••┈┈••✦••┈┈••✦

Garfield found a sorcerer in Kamar Taj and instructed him, along with Vivienne and Lilith.

"If he comes again and I am not home, open a portal and send him to my master in Kamar Taj. My master will contact me."

"Yes, Master Garfield."

"Yes, Master."

After giving these instructions, Garfield went to the underground space to check on Rin and Mari, who were training.

Rin was practicing water walking with the help of her ninja dogs and cats.

A clone of the slug was also there, possessing the consciousness of the original, guiding Rin's training.

Rin was a support oriented medical ninja, so learning from the slug was perfect for her.

Ignoring the slug, Garfield walked up to Rin with a mischievous grin and teased her.

"Rin, how have you been these past few days? Have you missed Kakashi and Obito?"

Rin blushed and scratched her head shyly.

"I have been training every day. I have not missed them."

Garfield said, "Is that so? I was planning to go back to your world for a short visit. But if you do not miss them, I will not bother."

Rin quickly said, "No. I want to go back."

Only after saying this did Rin realize she had been tricked by the orange cat.

He just wanted her to say she missed Kakashi and Obito.

Her face flushed even redder.

She glared angrily at Garfield before running off with the slug, the ninja cat, and the ninja dog.

The slug in Rin's arms turned to look at Garfield, then back at Rin.

The slug reminded her, "Rin, that orange cat was just teasing you. Do not take it to heart."

Rin nodded.

"I know."

Actually, she really missed Kakashi and Obito.

Especially Obito.

She had been here for years.

She had seen the legendary First and Second Hokage and Madara Uchiha.

But unfortunately, the times were different, and she had not met Kakashi and Obito.

Kakashi, Obito, I miss you so much.

Obito, I hope you are living happily in the Underworld.

Wait.

Garfield said Obito did not die.

So what was he doing?

✦••┈┈••✦••┈┈••✦

In a certain timeline, Obito, wearing a black robe with red cloud patterns and one eye resembling a vortex, could not help but sneeze.

Rubbing his nose, Obito gazed at Konoha in the distant mountains and gritted his teeth.

"Damn it. Where did Rin go? And that Kakashi. Instead of studying hard, he is watching Jiraiya's 'Make Out Paradise' all day with one of my eyes. I will get him sooner or later."

After staying home for half a day, Garfield returned to Hogwarts.
