Betas mainly are unable to smell the pheromones of both omegas and alphas but there are some exceptions.
For Wen Lan's case, he could only smell Jiaquan's pheromones, which became one of the reasons he fell for him.
His dream was to become an artist. He doesn't show it often because he's "ashamed" of it
