Grandpa and Kael both let out a massive, booming laugh that completely drowns out the sound of the pouring rain.
"Ehh?! Kael, you laughed too?!" I gasp, completely betrayed.
"M-My apologies, my lady!" Kael splutters, his shoulders shaking violently as he desperately tries to rein in his amusement. "But... My Lord and you... you two are literally married!"
Grandpa lets out another roaring laugh at Kael's remark, shaking his head. "Hey, kid, don't mess with my child... she is genuinely concerned that..." He pauses, snorting into his beard as he tries to hold back his amusement. "...that her own husband is making a move on her!"
Grandpa lets out another monstrously satisfied laugh that practically vibrates through the courtyard.
