EXT. CITY STREET – NIGHT
Kelvin and Mira walk slowly.
Not holding hands now.
Just close enough to feel each other's presence.
Awkward.
Gentle.
New.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
This feels… strange.
MIRA OKAFOR
New things usually do.
They stop at a junction.
Cars pass.
Kelvin scratches his head.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
I don't know how to do this.
MIRA OKAFOR
Good.
That means you're not pretending.
She smiles.
He smiles back.
Relieved.
INT. FRIENDS' HANGOUT – DAY (COMEDY RETURNS)
Kelvin enters with Mira.
Friends freeze.
Dan Kay drops his drink.
DAN KAY
Wait… wait… WAIT.
Oscar Bello squints.
OSCAR BELLO
Is this what I think it is?
Kelvin shrugs.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
We're… talking.
The room erupts.
Cheers.
Whistles.
DAN KAY
So the reserved seat finally get owner!
Mira laughs.
Kelvin hides his face.
INT. FRIENDS' HANGOUT – LATER
Kelvin performs.
Different energy.
Mira watches closely.
He sings softer.
More honest.

I sang for many faces
Lost myself in noise
But silence brought your footsteps
Now I hear your voice
Applause.
Kelvin looks only at Mira.
EXT. STREET – NIGHT
They walk again.
Mira nudges him playfully.
MIRA OKAFOR
So… the other girls?
Kelvin sighs.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
I owe myself honesty first.
She nods.
Satisfied.
INT. KELVIN ADEYEMI'S ROOM – NIGHT
Kelvin clears old messages.
Deletes contacts.
Pauses.
Deletes more.
Not angrily.
Calmly.
KELVIN (V.O.)
"Growth is choosing differently, not louder."
EXT. CAFÉ – DAY (LIGHT COMEDY)
Kelvin and Mira sit.
Kelvin is nervous.
Spills water.
MIRA OKAFOR
Relax. I've seen worse versions of you.
Kelvin laughs.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
Unfortunately, so have I.
They laugh together.
Real.
INT. CAFÉ – CONTINUOUS
Kelvin grows serious.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
I'm scared.
MIRA OKAFOR
Of what?
KELVIN ADEYEMI
Of hurting you… the way others hurt me.
Mira reaches across the table.
Holds his hand.
MIRA OKAFOR
Pain is not failure.
Avoiding love is.
Kelvin nods.
Deeply moved.
EXT. SCHOOL COMPOUND – EVENING
Kelvin stands outside the old school.
Nostalgic.
Mira beside him.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
This is where everything started.
Mira looks around.
MIRA OKAFOR
And where it must end.
He takes a deep breath.
Steps forward.
INT. SCHOOL HALL – EVENING
Kelvin walks alone inside.
Memories echo.
Laughter.
Tears.
Waiting.
He closes his eyes.
KELVIN (V.O.)
"Some chapters don't need answers.
They need closure."
EXT. SCHOOL GATE – EVENING
Kelvin returns to Mira.
Different.
Lighter.
KELVIN ADEYEMI
I'm done waiting.
Mira smiles.
MIRA OKAFOR
Then let's start walking.
They walk away together.
