"I really can't get you guys sometimes" yuta said, furiously shutting down his car door behind him walking at quite a pace inside the residence lobby, after a long tiring day at work what would someone need? A break and time out for themselves but he just can't seems to get it at all.
Sometimes it bothers yuta a lot, if it was the old yuta we all know, then he would not have any problem being busy with work calls after calls from his team as he used to live by himself.
with his loneliness and didn't know anything apart from work to spend his time but now time has changed yuta is not alone anymore, he has a extremely loving and not to forget sometimes super scary boyfriend who waits for him everyday at there home.
Yes, it's been 4 months since yuta and hoshi has got together, and hoshi has shifted to Yuta's house permanently. Four months of being together,enjoying each other's company sharing each others pain and problems.
Life hasn't been a rainbow and Sunshine for them too as some times they tend to get into arguments and fights that sometimes last long for more than a week as no matter how compatible they are but still at the end of the day they are two individuals who have different view and priorities regarding different things.
But those flights never weakened their bond rather it strengthen it and their faith in each other and that became possible because they both understand the value of open communication and taking time out to sort things out rather than letting their egos run or ruin their relationship and as renjun and haechan used to say they have indeed became a Power couple all thanks to their efforts.
Hoshi's parents and sister have accepted yuta as their family entirely and hoshi's mom and yuta also share an amazing bond that sometimes annoy the Korean male.
But he is more than happy to see his love being happy in the company of his parents as hoshi knows how much yuta misses his family but he just can't bring himself to talk to them now as he knows really well now his parents might behave when they'll come to know about him and hoshi.
And yuta can hear anything about him but can't bear a single wrong word being said about hoshi and the Korean knows it well too so he never forced yuta to talk to his parents.
Hoshi's entire friend circle had celebrated his relationship announcement and showered the Korean male with wishes and support and so did kun to yuta.
The Chinese felt more like a proud father than a best friend when yuta told him about the entire thing and now everything has fallen into right place in both Hoshi's and Yuta's life.
"It's just been 30 minutes of me leaving the company and you guys are having troubles?" Yuta said in his well known cold tone while the elevator button waiting in a side for it to come down, rubbing his nape in annoyance as the person from other side was trying to explain the situation to him while apologising once in a while.
"Contact the creative team to ask for the photoshoot and interview outlet then plan the interview questions and send them to me to recheck once it's done, call the new interns to visit the photo-shoot site tommorow with you so that they can learn and help"
yuta told his assistant manager and the guy hummed from the other side of the call, the Japanese being around some people in the elevator decided to not to speak about work any further for professional reason hung up the call after saying some few more words.
"now take rest or you'll be completely burn out by tommorow, you have got plenty of work to do so re-energised yourself" yuta said in a normal tone and hear a gasp from his manager as he never thought yuta would be asking him to take time off from work as that has never happened in past few years ever something surely has changed in yuta according to the manager and he is more than Happy about it.
Hanging up the call yuta realised it was already 5th floor and he walked out of the elevator making way to his and hoshi's home, as it was already half past 11pm yuta didn't wanted to ring the doorbell.
As it perhaps wake up hoshi who have the tendency to sleep early so he put out the Another keycard and opened the main gate slowly entering inside the house shutting the door behind him really gently and made way to the living room where to his surprise hoshi was sleeping in an really uncomfortable position while having a book laid on his chest, yes hoshi has start developing the habit of reading books by seeing his boyfriend reading in his free time.
Yuta walking towards his boyfriend wondering why is he sleeping here than in bedroom, first put the book aside and pushed back hoshi's hair that covering his eyes making the Korean male woke up by the sudden touch.
"You are back?" Hoshi asked in his sleepy voice sitting properly rubbing his eyes before looking at the wall clock to see what time is it before yawning loudly while stretching his body.
"Why are you sleeping here?" Yuta inquired but instead of answering yuta's question Hoshi stood up and walked towards the kitchen making yuta stare at his direction with a confused look on.
Following his boyfriend to the kitchen worrying that hoshi might be hungry yuta quickly rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and went to wash his hand while hoshi was busy searching something in the refrigerator.
"if you were hungry you should have ordered something for yourself, soonyoung-ah, now let me cook something for you" said yuta busy wiping his hands not noticing hoshi was standing beside the refrigerator waiting for yuta to look at him.
Turning around to ask hoshi about what he want to eat yuta wasn't able to finish off his sentence as his mouth fall a gape in surprise as hoshi was standing there with a piece of dark chocolate pastry being served in a plate with a candle lit up on top of it leaving yuta dumbfounded.
"What's that-
"I knew you didn't checked any of your message did you? Gosh I am so mad at you for always being caught in work that you forget it is your birthday Mr. Nakamato" hoshi said sounding grumpy but immediately break into a wide smile when he saw yuta was standing there looking all confused right now as if he don't believe anything that's happening right in front of him.
"Yah! Are you keep on going to stand there while I am holding this for you?" Hoshi's voice snapped yuta out of his state and he chuckled embarrassingly while rubbing his forehead.
"sorry" yuta said moving towards hoshi looking at his boyfriend with deep affection through the reflection of candle falling at both of their faces painting a beautiful scenery amidst the dim lighting of the kitchen.
"Happy birthday babe" hoshi said as his voice became even more softer and yuta chuckled whole heartedly before placing his hand on top of hoshi's holding the plate steady together before hoshi signalled yuta to make a wish and blew off the candle.
Yuta having nothing left to wish for him as he has got everything that he could have ever asked for himself in the form of hoshi, the Japanese felt grateful to God everyday for bringing his happiness, peace and source of inspiration in his life.
In the form of of his boyfriend didn't wished anything for himself but just wished hoshi's well-being and a happy life for his lover and blew off the candle giving the first bite of the pastry to hoshi.
"I seriously forgot it's my birthday" yuta said while enjoying the pastry sitting on the couch with hoshi who was clinging onto his boyfriend's side laying his head on his shoulder listening to him.
"I know that, you know mom-dad and even noona texted you to wish you birthday but as you didn't responded to them mom called me asking is anything wrong then I had to assure her that no mom it's just that how my boyfriend is and that's why I didn't texted you because I knew you won't read it as you are so much in rush now-a-days cause of work " hoshi told yuta, feeling drowsy and apologised before taking out his phone to check the messages and his eyes widened both in surprise and horror seeing this many birthday wishes for him.
From Hoshi's family to taeyong, Jeonghan, Jayb and his wife and ofcourse from kun and his own older sisters, he quickly texted back and apologised for replying late before putting his phone aside to focus on this present moment.
"Thankyou for this and for e-
"Yeah everything, I know that, stop saying thankyou on all almost everything babe, it make me feel awkward" hoshi said shifting a Little hiding his face on Yuta's neck crook ghosting his breath on the Japanese male's skin making yuta laugh at the tingling sensation.
"You are sleepy aren't you?" Yuta said peeking at hoshi through side eyes who hummed in response sending vibration throughout yuta's body and the Japanese male put the empty plate aside and nugged hoshi to sit straight hearing whines of protest from the younger male before yuta stoid up and made hoshi do the same making way to their bedroom.
"I am sorry It didn't went the way it should have, i wasn't able to do anything special for you and couldn't even bought you a present." Hoshi said holding yuta's hand between his hands, looking in his eyes guilty, making yuta sigh before turning completely towards hoshi caressing his cheeks from his free hand before smiling softly and placing a soft kiss on hoshi's lips.
"You have given me plenty of gifts throughout these past few months so it's good you didn't bought anything this time and about not being able to do something special.... Having you right by my side on my Birthday, having the person that I love the most being on my side on this day makes my Birthday the most special.
Trust me If it's wasn't for you, my birthday would have been just an another normal day for me as it has been for God knows how long... you've made my day special a lot more special."
Yuta said not breaking the eye contact for even once with his voice being extremely soft unintentionally and that only happen when he is talking to hoshi, smiling at each other with love dripping eyes hoshi spoke up "i thought I was the cheesier one among us but you proved me wrong"
"Well I am learning from the best" yuta teased earning a puch on his arm before they both made their way to the bed with hoshi lying down first waiting for yuta to lay down as well so that he can cling on him, removing his watch and accessories yuta closed the lights and went to bed with open arm as he know hoshi wants to cuddle him to sleep like they always do expect for when they fight.
Happily sliding into Yuta's arm laying his head on his chest hoshi smiled contently before taking a deep long breath and so does yuta for them there no bigger bliss in the world for them than to cuddle up in each other's arm at night after a long day at work.
"Btw tell me one thing, why was there just two pastries in the refrigerator, you usually bought a lot" yuta inquired while knowing the answer deep down but he want to hear it from hoshi who first murmured something his breath before answering.
"I ate the other three." Yuta can't help but chuckle ofcourse he knew it, hoshi just can't control his love for pastries at all.
"No doubt you are being so damn sleepy"
"Don't i always act sleepy at night?"
"Yeah but it's not drunk sleepy you know"
"Are you messing with me at such late hour, Mr. Nakamato?"
"Ofcourse not"
"Better, now sleep and let me sleep too i can't talk anymore"
"Got it, your majesty, good night"
"Goodnight to you too my love."
