Chapter 4 - Boo ! I am a ghost

*At 14:00 in the afternoon, both Diana and Timmo were starting to feel tired. They have been on the road for two hours now, and Timmo's face was full of bug blood and mutilated body parts on his face that he was trying to shield from for way too long as he would have wanted. Timmo hadn't eat anything since he started from his cabin early in the morning. The motorcycle wanted a rest too, as Diana noticed that the temperature gauge was starting to get over the middle point. The dust, the constant speed and the suffocating hot weather in this barren landscape was enough to even hit a machine's limits. Timmo smelt like a dirt rat on a nice sewer day. Timmo also wanted to pee badly, but the landscape was barren without any trees, bushes or even rocks, he was determined to keep it until they would reach their destination, the last thing he wanted is to stop her so he can do his pee. He was already got tired of her antics.

"Aight sweet cheeks, we have to take a break for like 10 minutes, my baby wants to cool off a bit. The weather doesn't help either." *Diana said as she put the stand on her motorcycle and got out of it.*

"Break ? We can't waste time, we have like 7 hours of road ahead of us. We will never reach the Cornfest in time, if we keep taking breaks all the time. We are supposed to be there at 21:00 in the evening." *Timmo pointed out as he got out of the motorcycle to clean his face with a can of water that Diana gave him. Fortunately, Diana always kept bottles of water on the motorcycle's baggage department.*

"What do you want me to do ? If we keep it like that, the bike will get overheated. Besides, my feet are numb, you will not get hurt if you arrive a bit later at your longfest." *Diana said as she stretched her back and glanced at the barren landscape that surrounded them.*

"It's called Cornfes- Nevermind. We have to go now. We can't lose any time. You don't understand, this is a big shot for me, I ain't have time for rest. So what is the problem ? You just drive a bike, ain't that hard. Anyone can do it." *Timmo said with a grumpy look.*

"Oh really ? Why you don't hop in and show me sweet cheeks ? I would love to see you trying it out. Come on, don't be scared. It is waiting for you." *Diana said with a throaty laugh as she pointed out at her bike.*

"Of course I will, I drove much worse than this. Sit and watch from the master. You just need to have the perfect balance." *Timmo gloated as he hopped on the bike. He made himself comfortable and gripped the handlebars.*

"Woah ! That's so cool. But can you like, try the same without the stand keeping the bike in place ?" *Diana said with a sarcastic tone. Timmo looked down on the stand and realized the reason why it was so easy to jump on the bike. He made several attempts to release the stand but failed miserably, but he didn't backed out even if he looked kind of funny to her eyes.*

"Do you want me to help you with that sweetch-" *Diana said before she got interrupted.*

"I got this ! You just need the exact amount of strength, you just lean the bike to the opposite site and then you simply... woah... woah I am falling !!!!" *Timmo said as he leaned the bike to much on the left and the sheer weight of the bike fell with him on the road.*

"Shoot !!! Are you alright Timmo !?" *Diana said as she ran to his aid, she gripped the bike and turned it over normally to it's stand position. She then crouched near him to check if his feet are okay.*

"Oh my days ! I think I have broken my spleen ! I will die !! I ain't gonna make it !" *Timmo panicked as he was wincing in pain.*

"Stop panicking idiot, let me check it out at least." *Diana said as she tended to his feet.*

*Timmo's ankles were all swelled up and became red, fortunately it wasn't so serious but one of the footrests scratched him quite well on his thighs. Diana had to downplay it in order not to panic him even more.*

"Get up. It's nothing. We will find a parking place or a gas station and put it some ice on it. By the evening it will be better. That's gonna be a lesson for you sweet cheeks to never play the brave one in stuff you didn't know just to gloat about." *Diana said as she helped him to get to his feet. Timmo was limping like those 80 years old after their first day in the gym.*

*Diana helped him to get to the motorcycle who by the time all of that happened, it managed to cool off a bit. Timmo, had to sit sideways on the motorcycle, as he was having difficulty to sit normally. After an hour of driving, they reached a rather sketchy abandoned old gas station on the highway. Diana went in to check it as Timmo was sitting on the motorcycle. Diana, realizing that this would be a good place to protect from the hot sun outside, decided for them to stay here for an hour until the hot weather calmed down a bit.*

"We are gonna stay here for a bit here. I ain't hearing a word from you Timmo." *Diana said to him as she helped him to get him inside. She gave him that serious look she gave back at the gas station when they first met each other.*

"Alright, alright. Does anyone really care what I say anymore ?" *He said with a resigned tone as he rested on a chair inside the abandoned gas station. He placed a chair in front of him to rest his feet.*

*Diana ignored Timmo's rumblings while she was exploring the rest of the place to find anything that could resemble a small health kit. If she was lucky maybe she would find some painkillers for Timmo's feet because finding ice was virtually impossible there. She found a small room in the deep end of the place.*

"Where are you going ?" *Timmo asked from the other end.*

"I am exploring the place, stop yapping. Just don't move or I have to drag you back to the chair." *Diana said with an authoritative tone.*

"Even if I wanted I can't, your stupid #$%@ fell on my feet and... blah...blah." *Timmo started mumbling again and Diana completely ignored him focusing on the room.*

*She opened the door, and to her disappointment she realized it was the janitor room of whoever worked in that place decades ago. Suddenly, the door shut behind her, trapping her inside.*

"Great... what I needed..." *Diana thought to herself feeling that something was wrong. She could sense a rather magical presence around her. It was exactly what she feared the most, not because of the danger itself, as she was rather accustomed to it, but the fact that Timmo was just sitting not far away from her in the main room and had to keep her powers a secret from him was a bit difficult.*
