"I can just go with you," Lyvana suggested, not wanting to be left alone in someone's room.
"What? No way," Emily replied. "Lady Glowen would kill me for stressing you out and making you run around the city. Just go up and rest."
"But what if he comes back?" Lyvana asked, sounding worried .
Emily laughed. "So? You think he would mind? Besides, Ethan said Julian is in Madrid right now dealing with some angry shareholders. He won't be back until tomorrow at the earliest."
Before Lyvana could argue again, Emily pressed the key card into her hand and headed back toward the elevator. "Relax! Raid his fridge, or something. Just don't drink any wine, or coffee, or... well you know the drill. I'll be back soon!"
Lyvana stood alone in the hallway, looking at the card in her hand. She took a deep breath and headed for the top floor.
Minutes later, she stood in front of the heavy doors of the penthouse.
