The Eclipse Incarnation had ascended to a new level of power, his control over light, darkness, and time reshaping the world itself. The eclipse hung in the sky, a permanent symbol of his rule. But as the world bent to his will, there was still one more force he could command—the shadows.
The Eclipse Incarnation knew that in order to solidify his dominance, he needed an extension of his influence, someone who could bring the eclipse's darkness to life. And so, he called forth the Incarnation of Shadow—an entity born from pure darkness, the perfect complement to his cosmic powers.
In the depths of the eternal twilight, where the eclipse had consumed everything, the Incarnation of Shadow was born. Azrael, the physical manifestation of darkness, surged forth from the very essence of the Eclipse Incarnation's power, and the land around him seemed to darken further. His form was that of a massive figure, cloaked in pure shadow, with eyes glowing like pinpricks of light in the depths of night.
The Incarnation of Shadow had no true face, only an endless mass of darkness, constantly shifting and swirling. His hands and limbs were like shadow tendrils, extending and retracting like liquid darkness. He had the ability to warp space and bend shadows to his will. His very presence was enough to send chills through the air—he was a being of pure evil, the perfect counterpart to the Eclipse Incarnation's reign of light and dark.
"I respond to the Eclipse Incarnation's will," the Incarnation of Shadow growled, his voice a deep, unsettling whisper. "I am the harbinger of his true power. And I will destroy everything in my path"
Far across the battlefield, Kheara could feel the presence of darkness rising. The Eclipse Incarnation had already manipulated time and light to dominate the world, but now, this new force—the Incarnation of Shadow—had emerged. Kheara knew the gravity of the situation. The Incarnation of Shadow was a being born from pure darkness, a direct extension of the Eclipse Incarnation's will.
"No," Kheara murmured, his eyes narrowing. "He has summoned the Incarnation of Shadow to serve him. The Eclipse Incarnation's power grows with each moment."
Kheara's body had been weakened from his earlier struggles with the Eclipse Incarnation, but he couldn't allow this new shadow-born force to wreak havoc. He had to act, or the world would fall further into the darkness.
The Incarnation of Shadow moved through the landscape with terrifying speed, his shadow tendrils spreading out, consuming the light, and plunging the world into even deeper darkness. Wherever his hands passed, the air thickened with darkness, and everything he touched began to wither—light, life, and even space itself seemed to collapse under his influence.
"Kheara…" the Incarnation of Shadow hissed, his voice echoing through the twisted landscape. "You cannot fight the inevitable. Darkness is not something to be feared; it is to be embraced. You cannot stop the Eclipse Incarnation. The world is already ours."
Kheara stood, facing the Incarnation of Shadow, ready to meet him head-on. His connection to time still remained strong, despite his exhaustion, but this new threat was different. Shadow wasn't something time could easily manipulate. It existed outside the normal laws of reality, a force that could be both physical and intangible.
"You are an extension of the Eclipse Incarnation's madness," Kheara replied, his voice firm. "But I will not let you take the world so easily. Time will correct itself, even if it means destroying everything you've created."
With that, Kheara raised his hands and began to manipulate time, slowing the Incarnation of Shadow's approach. But the shadow simply shifted and swirled, bending to the Incarnation's will.
In a blur of movement, the Incarnation of Shadow lashed out with shadow tendrils, each strike faster than Kheara could respond. The tendrils were like living, breathing darkness, able to pass through Kheara's temporal shields and time constructs, corrupting the fabric of reality itself.
"You cannot manipulate shadow, Kheara," the Incarnation of Shadow taunted. "It is not bound by your time. Darkness is the true force of this world."
Kheara dodged and weaved, using his temporal powers to slow down the tendrils, but each shadow strike seemed to consume time itself, shifting the battlefield into a warped, darkened version of the world.
Kheara summoned a time sphere, creating a protective shield around himself, but the Incarnation of Shadow didn't hesitate. With a single roar, he shattered the time shield, sending Kheara crashing to the ground.
"You're weak, Kheara," the Incarnation of Shadow sneered, his form hovering above him. "You cannot fight the true darkness. It is eternal."
Despite the overwhelming odds, Kheara's will was unbroken. He felt the pulse of time within him, a force too powerful to be extinguished. "You underestimate me," Kheara muttered under his breath. "Time may bend and warp, but it can never be destroyed. It will always find a way to heal."
Kheara's eyes glowed, and with a final surge of energy, he raised his hands, rewriting the flow of time around the Incarnation of Shadow. "I will not let you erase the world."
Kheara's time manipulation intensified, but the shadow seemed to shift and resist, moving faster than time could follow. The Incarnation of Shadow wasn't just fighting physically—he was warping time itself, forcing Kheara into an endless loop where past, present, and future collided in a never-ending nightmare.
The Incarnation of Shadow laughed maniacally, his dark form engulfing the battlefield. He reached forward, his shadowy hands wrapping around Kheara, dragging him into the abyss.
"Time is no match for the eternal darkness," the Incarnation of Shadow growled. "Your efforts are futile, Kheara. The Eclipse Incarnation has won. The world will fall under my shadow."
As Kheara struggled against the crushing power of the shadow, he could feel the darkness closing in, suffocating him. But even in his moment of weakness, Kheara's resolve burned brighter than ever. With a final push, he bent time to his will, using the last of his strength to displace himself from the Incarnation's grasp.
He staggered to his feet, his body bruised and weakened, but his resolve unwavering. "This isn't over," Kheara whispered. "The Eclipse Incarnation and your shadow may rule now, but time will always fight back."
