Soft morning light filtered through the curtains.
Isobel standing with her phone pressed to her ear. Her expression was calm, almost serene—but beneath it lay a quiet tension.
A voice spoke on the other end, low, steady, impossible to read.
"I will be there soon."
Isobel closed her eyes briefly.
"Hm. Okay."
The call ended. She stared at the dark screen a moment longer, as if trying to read something hidden. Whatever was coming… there was no stopping it now.
---
The next morning, the living room felt unusually tense.
Nahru yawned loudly, sprawled across the couch.
"Why'd you call us so early? It's Sunday…"
Juliet entered behind him, stretching with an exaggerated groan.
"Yeah, I didn't even get time for my morning skincare."
Isobel stood with arms folded, calm but serious.
"Wait for Ryan," she said. "I'll explain everything once he's here."
Minutes dragged by. The usual chatter faded, replaced by a restless, uneasy silence.
Damian glanced at the door, concern etched on his face.
"…This isn't like him. Should I go check on him—"
The door creaked open.
Juliet exhaled in relief.
"Ah, finally. You're here."
Ryan stepped in, his bright smile seemingly effortless.
"Sorry. Got caught up in something."
Isobel nodded.
"It's fine. Now… onto the main topic."
All eyes turned toward her.
"He's coming to see you all."
Damian frowned.
"…Who?"
"The one who sent me here," Isobel replied calmly. "The one who came after Ryan."
Juliet stiffened, grabbing Nahru's arm.
"Wait—really? Nahru, let's practice our introductions. I'm nervous."
Nahru chuckled awkwardly.
"Okie dokie… even I'm kinda scared."
Ryan smirked.
"Look who's confused."
Nahru shot him a sharp glare.
"You got a problem? Wanna fight?"
"Enough," Damian snapped. "Save it for later."
"You always ruin the fun," Ryan muttered.
Nahru nodded seriously.
"Agree. One hundred percent."
Damian's eyes narrowed.
"You really want a fight right now?"
Juliet sighed, rubbing her temples.
Suddenly, Isobel stiffened.
"…He's here."
A loud electronic buzz echoed through the house.
"Oh—he's here," she added softly.
"WHAT?!" everyone shouted in unison.
The door opened slowly. A man stepped inside.
Black hair. Young in appearance. Calm to the point of being unsettling.
The air itself seemed different, as if the world held its breath.
Juliet's cheeks flushed.
"Is he… the one?" she whispered. "Damn… he's hot."
Ryan grinned.
"Well. That explains a lot."
Damian nodded slowly.
"He carries himself like a veteran."
Nahru said nothing, his gaze fixed on the newcomer with unbroken focus.
Isobel stepped forward, pride clear in her voice.
"This is the one who defeated Shadow—Shun Kazama. The one who sent me here."
The man's gaze swept over them, unreadable.
"Call me Master from today," Shun said.
Only he heard the spirit sealed within him.
Thank God you didn't ruin the introduction, the voice said.
It's easy. I just copy what you say, Shun replied silently.
Introductions followed, one by one. Nahru spoke last.
"You already know about me."
Shun's eyes lingered on him.
"Yeah. I know."
Is he… Zien? the inner spirit asked.
Yes, Shun thought.
"I don't care what you've done," Shun said aloud. "And I won't stop you from fighting them. I'm only here to observe."
I might've found a really strong one, he added silently.
Nahru bowed slightly.
"Thank you. It's an honor."
Damian frowned.
"You… know him?"
"He's famous," Nahru replied. "Across the universe."
Juliet blinked in awe.
"That's… incredible."
Ryan's eyes narrowed. Something about Shun didn't feel right.
Shun turned to him.
"Show me your strength."
Then, addressing the group:
"I'm here to test you all."
His gaze settled on Juliet.
"Your powers were accidental. If you stop now, you can live a normal life. But if you continue… those powers will become truly yours. Are you sure?"
Juliet's voice was steady.
"Yes, Master. I've made my decision. I want to fight with them."
She hesitated briefly, then asked, "But… why did you smile when you looked at Isobel?"
Damian's eyes flicked up.
"Yeah, I saw that too."
Isobel sighed.
"…I didn't tell you before. He's my father."
The room erupted.
"WHAT?!"
Ryan's jaw dropped.
"How old are you?!"
"Nine hundred seventy," Shun said calmly.
"…WHAT? Then how do you look so young?!"
"That's just… how I was born," Shun replied.
Ryan blinked, confused.
"What…?"
"Nothing," Shun said.
Nahru grinned.
"Oh, I'm only twenty years younger than him."
Everyone stared in disbelief.
Shun's voice cut through the tension.
"Attack me. All of you."
"All together?" Damian asked.
"Yes."
"With powers?" Juliet added.
"Do as you please."
Nahru leaned toward Ryan.
"I'm not going all out. He's beyond us."
Ryan frowned.
"That strong?"
"Way more than you can imagine."
The fight began.
Isobel charged—missed.
Juliet hurled fire—Shun vanished.
Nahru tried chains, Damian struck—Shun slipped away like smoke.
Ryan compressed air into a ring; Juliet and Isobel reinforced it.
Damian sealed the rear, Nahru readied a white blast.
"Impressive," Shun said, breaking free of the chamber.
He appeared beside Juliet, striking her into a wall.
Isobel blocked a kick but was thrown aside.
He grabbed Nahru and Damian, smashing their heads together.
"Damnnn…" Nahru groaned. "That hurts…"
"Train harder," Shun said calmly. "Reach your true power. You are worthy opponents."
Nahru grinned.
"I'm still hard to handle…"
"Heh. I know."
Shun rushed Ryan next. Ryan dodged, but a heavy strike sent him crashing to the floor.
They lay scattered, bruised, exhausted.
"Do not be disheartened," Shun said. "This was only the beginning. You fought well—together."
Juliet lifted her head.
"…So we passed?"
"Yes."
He patted her head, wiped blood from Isobel's face, rested a hand briefly on Nahru's head, nodded to each of them, and turned to leave.
"Master," Ryan called out. "That day… when I was bullied… when I insulted Juliet… I saw you. But I couldn't sense any power from you. Still can't. Why?"
Shun stopped.
"Because," he said without turning, "I have no powers."
There eyes widened in shock
"Then how strong are you?" Ryan asked.
"I'm among the six strongest beings in the universe."
You mean third, the inner spirit corrected.
No, Shun replied silently.
Ryan : Butt...?
" I know you have lots of questions you will find there answers soon " Shun said by cutting him off
and then leave without looking back
while everyone was sitting there with lots of questions in there minds
Far away, in a darkened room, a man clenched his fist, fury burning in his eyes.
"I can sense you…" he growled.
