Chapter 51 - Chapter 48

After the Whistle — Hogwarts Explodes

The moment the final score appeared—

Hufflepuff – 290

Slytherin – 40

—the stadium erupted.

Students leapt to their feet. Scarves flew. Cheers echoed so loudly that the Forbidden Forest birds scattered.

"BEST MATCH EVER!"

"LUCIEN FOR MINISTER!"

"HUFFLEPUFF! HUFFLEPUFF!"

Even the professors were smiling.

Professor Sprout looked like she might cry from pride.

Flitwick applauded enthusiastically, hopping in place.

McGonagall nodded sharply—impressed despite herself.

Dumbledore clapped slowly, eyes twinkling.

"A splendid display of… creativity."

Snape merely smirked.

🐍 Slytherin's Worst Day

On the Slytherin side?

Chaos.

Marcus Flint sat on the grass, nose swollen, dignity shattered.

"You HIT ME," he roared at his beaters.

Graham Pike and Derrick Vance stared at the ground.

"…Technically," one muttered, "the Bludger did."

Students walking past were already laughing.

"Nice teamwork, Flint!"

"Next time, try dodging!"

"Your Beaters are Hufflepuffs in disguise!"

By dinner, the Slytherin beaters had become the laughing stock of Hogwarts.

No amount of glare could save them.

🎉 Hufflepuff Celebration (Enter Tonks)

Hufflepuff celebrated like they'd won the World Cup.

Lucien barely had time to breathe before someone tackled him in a hug.

"YOU WERE AMAZING!" Tonks yelled, lifting him off the ground.

She spun him once—then tripped.

They both went down.

Laughing.

Her hair changed color six times in five seconds.

"Careful," Lucien said calmly, still on the floor. "You'll knock yourself out."

Tonks grinned. "Worth it!"

Cedric laughed, clapping Lucien on the shoulder.

Angelina and Katie cheered.

Susan was glowing with pride.

Akeno simply smiled—eyes warm, knowing.

🦁 A Brother's Pride

Later, near the edge of the pitch, Harry approached.

Lucien noticed him immediately.

"You were incredible," Harry said, breathless. "That kick—mid-air—upside down—"

Lucien chuckled. "You noticed."

Harry's eyes shone.

"I'm proud of you."

Lucien rested a hand on Harry's shoulder.

"And I'll be watching your match too."

Harry grinned.

"Deal."

🌟 Hogwarts Has a New Star

By nightfall, Lucien's name was everywhere.

Whispers in corridors.

Excited retellings at dinner.

Exaggerated reenactments in common rooms.

A first-year.

A Hufflepuff.

Who outplayed Slytherin at their own game.

Hogwarts would remember this day.

And Lucien?

He just smiled softly, Vulpix curled at his side—content, famous, and exactly where he belonged.
