Chapter 1 - Eperiment

Whether God is real or not—this question has always lingered in the human mind. And in the pursuit of that answer, humanity has always done something, whether through science or through devotion. And among them were a few who were now trying to uncover the truth inside a laboratory

In a research laboratory surrounded by dense forests where research was being carried out on cosmic entities and cosmic elements, their very presence was under careful study,There were four to five researchers present there—including two scientists and three apprentices. All of them were working with extreme caution, because this was their only chance—they were in the final stage of their research. Just then, one of the scientists he hesitated slightly and said.

"Should we really do this? This substance is extremely special, and you know how we obtained it. To acquire it, we lost our entire team—and we barely escaped with our lives."

At this, the second scientist spoke, his voice tinged with irritation

"We are on the brink of unveiling the mysteries of the gods and the very secrets of the universe itself."

Hearing this, the first scientist said—"I understand how you feel, but you know just how dangerous this experiment is."

As soon as they heard him speak, the three apprentices shifted their gaze towards them,They were visibly shaken because they knew nothing about the experiment, nor how dangerous it could be.They were merely carrying out orders. Fear gripped all three, but they steeled themselves. Then, hesitating, one of them spoke to the two scientists

"Master, the substance is fully prepared. We can now load it into the C.E.O. Engine."

The C.E.O. Engine was the name of a machine that could determine the origin of any unknown substance placed inside it. One of the scientists conducting this experiment was the very one who had created the machine, and he was the one leading the experiment. When he heard this, his attention shifted to the apprentice. He nodded in agreement—but after a moment of thought, he spoke.

"Wait. Give it to me.I'll do it myself."

He then took the substance from the apprentice and inserted it into the engine. He watched the process closely, inwardly filled with excitement—yet also a little afraid. The others had left the room and were now in the monitoring room. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the process unfolding before them. No one wanted to blink—it felt as though even a single blink might cause them to miss something crucial.

While all of this was happening on one side, on the other, inside the Cosmic Department Head's office, A man dressed in an elegant suit sat confidently in his chair, one leg crossed over the other. In front of him stood another man with his head bowed, who spoke to the seated man in a low voice.

", when I told him that you wanted to supervise this experiment, he removed me from the project altogether. If you don't act soon, I fear he will take your place before long."

The moment he heard this, the director's anger exploded, and he yelled—"How dare he defy me! If he hadn't built that engine, I wouldn't have let him anywhere near the experiment—forget the experiment, I wouldn't have even allowed him to touch the lab equipment...."

After a brief pause,he paused briefly, then rose from his chair, straightened his suit, and spoke in a commanding voice."Go—bring him to me. If he comes willingly, fine. Otherwise, drag him here."

He was just about to leave when a deafening explosion suddenly rang out. Panic erupted across the entire campus. People scattered in every direction, fear etched on their faces as they ran blindly, shouting and pushing past one another, desperate to escape whatever catastrophe had just struck. The security team immediately moved toward the source of the explosion. Alarms blared as they rushed through the corridors, weapons raised and senses on high alert. Within moments, they reached the site, only to be met with chaos—smoke billowing into the air, debris scattered across the ground, four figures emerged from the site, their silhouettes unsteady. They were the same individuals who had been present during the experiment moments earlier. The moment the security team spotted them, they rushed forward in alarm supporting them to keep them from collapsing as they spoke—

"Are you guys all right? Did any of you get hurt? Is there anyone else still trapped inside?"

They were in no condition to speak. Their bodies trembled, their breathing was uneven, and no words came from their lips. Yet their eyes kept drifting again and again toward the laboratory, filled with fear and unspoken dread, as if trying to tell everyone what they have just witnessed inside.

Just as the security team was about to move away, a figure began walking toward them from the same direction the four had come from. Calling it a human would have been wrong. His entire body was scorched by fire, and from his head down to his chest, half of him was simply gone. Blood poured from the missing portion, dripping onto the ground with every unsteady step he took.He had barely taken a few steps when his legs gave out and he collapsed heavily onto the ground. It felt as though he had spent the very last of his strength just to reach that far.

He could barely keep his eyes open. In those final moments, his life began to replay in his fading mind—how he had once been an orphan, alone in the world; how a girl had entered his life, only to leave him behind because he was poor; how his hunger for money had driven him to abandon the work he truly loved. He remembered the day the substance had come into his hands, and how he had built that machine just to understand what it truly was. And now, as his vision dimmed, he realized how close he stood to death.n his final moments, he said only this to himself—

"If I am ever born again, I won't waste my life like this to prove others. I want to live my life freely, without any chains or restraints."

Having said that, his eyes slowly closed. The faint light in them faded away, his breathing grew shallow, and then still. In that moment, all movement left his body, as silence claimed him completely—marking the end of his life.
