Some more time passed, and Sasuke is 3 years old now.
'Now that I'm three, I should be able to use the clan library. Mom gave me lessons in reading and writing over the last year and a half or so. But it was actually nano who taught me the language.'
Sasuke made his way to his mom. She was in her room folding laundry. "Mom! Can I go out for a bit?"
"Sure, but don't go out of the clan compound."
'The war has been going on for two years now. Thankfully, Dad never leaves the village, since his job is to be Grandpa's guard. Also, because he's the captain, he gets the best hours. It honestly feels like he has a nine-to-five, which is great!'
Sasuke made his way to the biggest building in the clan compound.
On his way, he heard people talking about the war
'Minato is getting famous. He's killing it out there.'
It didn't take long for Sasuke to reach the biggest building in the clan compound. The clan headquarters.
'This building has the meeting chambers for the clan head and the elders. There is even a bigger meeting room for all the clan shinobi. Then there are other floors used for other things, such as the clan treasury and the library.'
"Hello there, young Sasuke. Did you sneak away from your mom again?" The guard at the door looked at Sasuke with slight suspicion
"Na-ah! I asked mom, and she said it was ok for me to come here."
"Hahaha! I'm messing with you, Sasuke. You can go in, but please don't bother other people ok" the guard said as he ruffled Sasuke's hair.
Sasuke got inside the building. It wasn't his first time here. He had managed to get here once before. He may or may not have snuck away from his mom and followed his dad to a clan meeting. Obviously, he was caught right away, but he still managed to get a good look at the place.
'Mom said that once I turn three, I can come here to access the clan library. I'm not sure if it's because we are at a time of war, or if three is the age when clans start to teach their children. But that's cool with me either way. My third Birthday was a few days ago. So finally I can use the library.'
"Hello there. How can I help you?" The librarian at the desk by the library entrance said. She is an average-looking lady with brown hair.
"Hello, my name is Sasuke Sarutobi. I turned three a few days ago. I would like to browse the library, please." Sasuke said, his voice was childish and cute.
"Oh! So you're lord third's grandchild. It's nice to meet you, little Sasuke, and happy belated birthday. You can go to the library and browse the first floor however you like. Is there anything in particular you want to read about first?"
"No. It's my first time in the library. I'm just going to look around. If I need help, I'll come find you."
With that, Sasuke turned away from the librarian and walked deeper into the clan library.
'Nano. I will flip through the pages. I will not go in any particular order. I want you to scan and file all the data into their respective categories on the list. Don't transfer the data to me right away. We will do it at a different time.'
[Affirmative]
Sasuke looked around for a bit. He was the only one in that section of the library. There was one other person on the other side of the library, plus the librarian of course.
Once he made sure no one was paying attention to him, Sasuke started flipping through the books. He flipped through them fast, but he also kept quiet.
'I don't want to attract the librarian's attention,' he thought as he kept track of where everyone was.
Time passed; it has been a few hours now. Nano informed him when the other person had left the library. Sasuke didn't care; he just kept scanning books.

Sasuke immediately slowed down his fast flipping and stopped at one page, and started reading like a normal person. The switch was so smooth that even Sasuke was surprised with himself.
"Sasuke, how is the reading going?"
Sasuke turned and looked up at the librarian. His heterochromic eyes were very unique; the librarian couldn't help but stare.
"It's going great. I looked at a few books. I'm still browsing, haven't found anything interesting yet."
"You will for sure find something you like. The first floor of the clan library has the basic knowledge of all subjects selected."
"Yeah, I know. I saw a lot of books about chakra and other things." Sasuke nodded in agreement
"Not just that. We have books on the basics of sealing and medical techniques as well. Did you get the chance to see them yet?"
"Yeah, I saw some of them. I didn't read them, though. I'll get there soon."
"Sounds good. How about you go home for lunch and come back later? I'll show you the sealing and medical section when you come back."
'She probably wants to go to lunch, but she can't leave while someone is in the library. I should go.'
"Sure. I'll come back after lunch then."
Sasuke left the library and started making his way home
'How many books did we scan, nano?'
[On average, we scanned books at the rate of 10 seconds per book, including the time spent between books. The total comes to 1,080 books]
'That's good. The books on the first floor are small, so I was able to scan a lot of them. I'm already more than 2/3 the way done with the library. Well, the first floor at least. I should be able to finish the rest of the first floor today. Tell me about the knowledge we got from the library, nano.'
[The books had repetitive data recorded. But 410 books were related to basic chakra theory. 258 Related to history. 241 related to the etiquette and mannerisms of shinobi clans. 154 related to shinobi rules and the shinobi code of conduct. 7 books were related to the basics of human anatomy. 5 books related to the basics of genjutsu. 5 books related to the basics of calligraphy]
'Sounds like a good haul. Ok, I want you to synthesize all the knowledge we gained. Cross-reference everything, and find any inconsistencies. Also, I'm not surprised there are no fictional stories in a shinobi clan library. I should visit a bookstore and see if I can get my hands on a fictional book for fun.'
[Affirmative]
By the time Sasuke was done chatting with nano, he had reached back home
"I'm home."
"Welcome back, Sasuke. So, how was the library? Read anything interesting?"
"I got to browse for a bit. I'm interested in a little bit of everything. I want to be the perfect shinobi. So I should learn everything." Sasuke said with a wide smile on his face.
"Hahaha, there is no such thing as a perfect shinobi Sasuke", his mom said as she ruffled his hair. "But I think you should keep studying everything that interests you."
"Thanks, Mom. But all that reading made me hungry. What's for lunch?"
"Oh, I made something you will love. Go wash your hands."
With that, Sasuke and his mom sat down and ate lunch. The food was delicious, as always.
While he was eating, Sasuke's brain was elsewhere. ' Hey, Nano. Tell me, do we have enough data for me to awaken my chakra'

[Negative. You already have an incredibly strong spirit. Once your physique reached the minimum threshold for both energies to mix, it happened automatically.]
'I see. Then when would I be able to cast a jutsu?'

'Alright. I guess I should start with the basic three jutsu. The clone, substitution, and transformation jutsus. But how do I get them?' Sasuke was thoughtful as he looked over at his mom
"Hey, Mom. If I want to learn a jutsu, what should I do?"
"Well, I'm not a shinobi myself, Sasuke. But from what your dad told me, he couldn't cast his first jutsu until he was 6 years old. You are still too young, I think. How about you ask your dad when he gets home?"
"Ok. I'm going back to the library."
"Again? How about you go another day?"
"I'm almost done exploring the first floor. I have one more corner to check out, and then I'll be done."
"You better not be causing a mess over there."
"Of course not! I put the books back exactly where I found them."
"Fine. Just be back before sunset. And don't leave the clan compound".
Sasuke jumped out of his seat. Got his hands washed and then made his way back to the library
