Ficool

Chapter 8 - 7

Zoro stood up defiantly, ready to continue the fight, when Luffy flicked him on the head again, this time with even more force. The pain made him drop his wooden sword and clutch his forehead.By the time he realized what had happened, Luffy had already picked up the fallen sword and, with a symbolic smile, asked, "So, this green-haired guy, are you giving up?"

"What green-haired bastard, you idiot! My name is Zoro!" Hearing Luffy's words, Zoro's face darkened instantly. He snatched the wooden sword from Luffy's hand and cursed.Kuina, though smiling, had a serious look in her eyes. After Zoro returned, she gripped her wooden sword tightly and slowly walked to a spot not far from Luffy. Her gaze was fixed on the spot where Luffy had been standing, and she thought to herself: I didn't even see how Luffy appeared in front of Zoro in an instant.A hint of tension flashed in her eyes, and her hands unconsciously tightened their grip on the sword hilt.At this moment, the atmosphere on the entire field became extremely tense.

"Come on, don't be so nervous. We're just having a friendly spar.Don't worry about anything, just attack with all your might!" Luffy comforted Kuina when he saw how nervous she was, while Zoro stood aside, pondering how Luffy had defeated him.

"Whew~~~~~, I'm going in!"

Kuina took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, as if calming her inner tension. She gripped the hilt of her sword tightly, her eyes resolute and focused. With a loud shout, she charged towards Luffy like an arrow released from a bow, her steps swift and powerful, each one filled with determination and courage. Her body leaned slightly forward, forming a unique angle with the ground, as if using inertia to amplify her impact.Reaching Luffy, she shifted her position swiftly, appearing behind him, and then slashed her sword fiercely at him.

Seeing this, Luffy also began to take it seriously.Although he didn't understand swordsmanship, comparing Kuina's fighting style with Zoro's, it was no wonder that Zoro lost to Kuina in the anime. It was entirely because Zoro at this time only knew how to use brute force in battle, always breaking through head-on without any skill.Kuina, on the other hand, didn't use brute force like Zoro.In battle, she would think about how to use clever moves to defeat her enemies.

"As expected of a descendant of the Shimotsuki family," Luffy thought to himself, dodging the attack as Kuina's eyes remained focused. After her initial strike missed, she swiftly distanced herself from Luffy. Her movements were light and slow, as if weaving an invisible net around him, searching for his weaknesses.Every step revealed Kuina's caution; she carefully observed Luffy's movements, not missing a single detail. Her body leaned slightly forward, ready to launch her next attack at any moment.A tense atmosphere filled the air.Zoro and Uta below the stage stared wide-eyed at the performance, afraid that they might miss the final outcome if they weren't paying attention.

After a long standoff, Luffy launched the first attack. His movements were swift and decisive, like a ferocious beast, giving his opponent no chance to breathe.Kuina raised her sword to block Luffy's attacks, but Luffy's physical strength exceeded her expectations. Each of his attacks was simple and direct, yet contained immense power. There were no fancy moves, only fierce punches.Gradually, Kuina was struggling to hold on.She tried to fight back, but Luffy's speed and strength made it difficult for her to cope.Even blocking his attacks was extremely difficult. Finally, a powerful attack from Luffy struck Kuina's wooden sword again. With a crack, the wooden sword broke, and Kuina collapsed to the ground in a daze. She could sense that Luffy hadn't used his full strength in this battle, and the final blow was clearly a casual punch.

"Why aren't you fighting me with all your might? Is it just because I'm a girl?Is it because girls are inferior to you boys?" Kuina pushed away Zoro's hand that was trying to help her up and loudly questioned Luffy, who was about to leave.

Luffy froze, rubbing his forehead in exasperation. He'd forgotten that Kuina was currently suffering from a loss of confidence due to her father's outdated belief that female swordsmen, limited by stamina, could never become the world's strongest.Luffy turned back to Kuina, saying, "I didn't mean to hold back my strength just because you're a girl.I said before that we were just having a friendly spar.I don't think a spar should end up hurting everyone. And why do you think girls are inferior to boys?Uta-neechan, show them what you've got!"

Uta rolled her eyes, but still started singing.Zoro and Kuina felt a moment of dizziness, then shook their heads, looked around strangely, and asked, "Nothing's changed?"

"Are you really sure you're still in the real world, and not in another world?"

"Dreaming? What do you mean?Aren't we still awake?Wait, hey~~~~* 2, who are you guys?" As they were talking, Guzo and Uta realized something was wrong. In front of them were Luffy and Uta, who had grown up.The two smiled slightly, and the grown-up Uta waved his hand and sent them out of the world of Sing-Sing.Then he softly leaned into Luffy's arms and fell asleep.

Outside, the two, having just woken up, groggily got up from the ground and looked around in confusion. They still didn't understand what had happened until they saw Uta, who was sleeping in Luffy's arms. Then they seemed to understand something.

"So, the idea that girls are inferior to boys is."That's nonsense. As far as I know, there are many powerful women in the Marine Headquarters, whose strength surpasses that of many men.For example, there's a woman named Momousagi; she's not only a swordswoman, but her swordsmanship is also extremely powerful. And look at Uta; even I might not have been able to defend against that attack just now.So, don't be swayed by others' opinions; the important thing is to follow your own heart."

Hearing Luffy's words, Gulina seemed to understand something.Yes, her dream was to become the world's greatest swordsman. If she had to give up her dream because of her father's words that female swordsmen could never become the world's greatest due to their physical limitations, then she might as well not practice swordsmanship at all.

Seeing Kuina gradually regain her confidence, Luffy smiled slightly.Luckily, he possessed all the protagonists' talking skills, otherwise he really wouldn't have been able to achieve such an effect. After all, as everyone knows, the protagonist's talking skills have all sorts of effects, and inspiring people is just one of them.
