Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: Tyrants glimpse

Taru's pov

Something inside me finally snapped.

Not completely. Not enough to call upon the full Tyrant Origin, not yet. But enough to let the beast inside me breathe after a while of dormancy .

I closed my eyes.

Then reached inward.

Deep beneath my ordinary Saiyan power, beneath the layers of control and restraint, lay the monstrous reserve I'd spent years learning to master.

Tyrant Origin, the form that had once almost consumed me, the power that had nearly broken the very fabric of reality.

I didn't transform.

I didn't allow the black fur to erupt across my skin.

I didn't allow my body to swell with the unnatural bulk of that ancient form.

I didn't surrender to the madness that came with it.

Instead, I reached into that transformation, plucked a fraction of its power from the depths.

Ten percent.

That was all.

The change was immediate.

My breathing stopped, as if my lungs had forgotten their purpose. The scratches across my body, shallow, stinging, ceased to matter. My ki changed. It became heavier, denser, older.

The energy around me didn't flare outward like ordinary ki. It pressed outward, like gravity itself had suddenly become angry.

And then

The pressure hit them.

Zarbon's eyes widened, his monstrous form recoiling as if struck by an invisible fist, causing him lose focus on the ki he had stolen from Taru . Dodoria's grin vanished, his body stumbling backward, his muscles locking under the weight of something he couldn't see, couldn't fight.

They were overwhelmed.

Then another invisible pulse of pressure followed which sent them flying back..

Their bodies disappeared into the void, hurled backward like leaves caught in a hurricane.

Behind me, Namek's atmosphere rippled, the very air trembling under the force of my presence. The planet shuddered, its crust groaning as if protesting the sudden intrusion of something it wasn't meant to bear.

The enormous magical barrier surrounding it flickered violently, cracks of blinding light spiderwebbing across its surface before it stabilized, sealing itself back together with a sound like a thousand shattering mirrors.

Farther away, planets trembled in their orbits.

Asteroids changed course, their trajectories bending under the influence of my power.

Stars shimmered, their light distorting as if the very fabric of space had been warped.

The entire solar system reacted, not to a threat, but to the sudden appearance of something that simply wasn't supposed to exist within its natural hierarchy.

I opened my eyes.

Ten percent.

That was enough.

I looked toward Dodoria.

He was still recovering, his body spinning lazily in the void, his movements sluggish.

He barely had time to raise his head before I vanished,

And reappeared directly in front of him.

My fist struck his chest.

BOOM..

His body flew backward, his ribs caving in under the impact, his armor splintering like glass. He tumbled, his form spinning, his breath ragged.

I followed.

Another strike, my fist crushing his guard, his arms snapping like twigs under the force. He tried to scream, but the sound was lost in the vacuum, his mouth filling with blood.

Another strike.

And another.

Dodoria attempted to defend himself but it didn't matter.

Every movement he made was a fraction too slow.

Every attack was anticipated.

Every block was shattered like brittle glass.

I struck his guard apart, literally. His forearm broke under my fist, the bone splintering through his skin, his scream silent but his agony palpable. He staggered, his remaining arm flailing, his ki sputtering like a dying flame.

I drove him downward, my fist pounding into his sternum, the impact sending him crashing through an asteroid. The rock exploded beneath him, fragments scattering like shrapnel.

Before he could recover, I appeared above him, my shadow falling over his broken form.

"You're finished."

Dodoria roared, a sound that was more defiance than strength and released everything he had. His aura erupted, a violent storm of energy that illuminated the void, his body swelling as he poured every last drop of his power into a final, desperate attack as he fired a concentrated orange beam of ki..

But it was pointless as i moved through it.

Straight toward him.

The ki brushed washed my body like a river parting around a rock.

A concentrated beam of golden-white ki erupted from my mouth, like a raging oozaru.

Dodoria let out a silent scream has he slowly and brutally vanished inside the blast.

The beam continued through the void, a searing lance of energy that carved a path through the darkness. Then it faded, the light dimming, the heat dissipating.

Nothing remained.

Not even ash.

I hovered there, silently, my body trembling with the aftershocks of my own power. The anger inside me, the rage that had flared when I'd seen Faye struck, when I'd heard his pained scream, finally began to settle, like a storm passing over a ravaged battlefield.

Then I turned.

Zarbon was gone.

I stared at the empty space where he'd been, my voice a low, dangerous growl within my ki aura .

"...that bitch of a Coward."

He had escaped.

Instant Transmission, the technique he'd been using against me. Of course. I couldn't sense him anymore. He was already somewhere beyond my reach, licking his wounds, plotting his next move.

I grunted, my voice rough with dissatisfaction.

"It's fine, I'll find you later.. ."

My attention immediately returned to Faye.

I appeared beside him in an instant, my hand reaching out, my fingers brushing against his skin.

His body was still unconscious, floating against the Namekian barrier, his face pale, his breathing shallow.

I caught him carefully, my arms cradling him against my chest.

"ay.. Faye."I shook him a little..

Nothing.

I checked his breathing and it was steady. His divine ki was weak but stable. Relief flooded through me, a warmth that cut through the lingering fury.

I pulled him against my chest, his head resting against my shoulder.

"You're okay."

I held him there for several seconds, my grip tight, my voice a whisper. Only then did I look toward Namek.

The barrier was still standing.

Barely.

I could feel the Namekians watching, dozens of eyes, dozens of minds. They were frightened. Curious. Waiting.

I could have tried brute force again.

Instead, I decided to use something else.

I looked down at my hands.

Then summoned the power of my final Tyrant Origin.

This time

I transformed.

Black fur erupted across my body, my muscles swelling, my frame expanding until I was a monstrous silhouette against the void. My tail snapped through the air, a living whip of power. My hair changed, lengthening, darkening, twisting into something primal, something ancient.

The power surrounding me became so dense that space itself seemed to distort, the very air screaming under the weight of my presence.

The Namekian barrier immediately reacted.

The entire planet shuddered, its surface cracking under the strain.

The ten Namekians below staggered, their bodies trembling as they felt the unnatural pressure of my form.

I raised one hand.

Ki condensed around my palm, not a blast, not a wave, but a blade. A narrow, brilliant edge of compressed power, sharp enough to cut through anything.

I brought it toward the barrier.

"Let's see what you're made of."

I thrust.

The blade pierced the barrier.

For one instant, the entire world seemed frozen, time itself holding its breath.

Then

CRACK..

The barrier split.

Not exploded.

Not destroyed.

Pierced.

I pushed through, my body slipping into the opening like a knife through flesh. The moment I was inside, the barrier sealed behind me, its surface knitting itself back together as if it had never been breached

I looked back.

The barrier was whole again, its shimmering surface unbroken.

Interesting.

I released the transformation.

Black fur vanished.

My body returned to normal.

The ancient power retreated, though its presence still lingered in the air, a ghost of what I had unleashed.

I deliberately reduced my power, my ki settling into something less apocalyptic. I didn't want to damage the galaxy merely by standing here.

Then I looked down at Faye.

Still unconscious.

I adjusted my grip, cradling him closer, and carried him toward the surface.

The Last Ten

The ten Namekians stood frozen, their bodies rigid, their breaths shallow. None spoke. None moved.

They had witnessed the battle.

They had felt the first release of Taru's power,a force that had shaken the very foundations of their world.

And then they had felt something far worse.

The transformation.

For several seconds, their enhanced senses had been overwhelmed, their minds drowning in the sheer weight of the energy that had flooded the void.

One warrior lowered himself onto one knee, his voice a rasp.

"What… was that?"

Another couldn't answer. His hands trembled, his antennae twitching as if trying to process something his mind couldn't comprehend.

The Elder stared upward, his staff trembling faintly in his grip. He had sensed ancient Saiyans before not personally, but through the memories inherited from those who had lived thousands of years earlier, the echoes of a time when Saiyans had been something more than mere warriors.

But this

This was different.

The Elder closed his eyes, his voice a whisper.

"He suppressed it."

"What?" one of the warriors asked, his voice tight.

"He transformed…" The Elder's expression tightened, his grip on his staff whitening. "…and then deliberately reduced his power."

The other Namekians stared at one another, their faces pale..

That frightened them more than the power itself.

The Elder slowly turned toward the ancient sanctuary, his gaze locking onto the hidden chamber where the Dragon Balls rested.

They remained there protected, waiting, their energy dormant but unmistakable.

"We must meet him," the Elder said, his voice carrying the weight of a decision that would change everything.

Frieza's Palace

Zarbon appeared,

And hit the floor.

Hard.

His body rolled several meters across the polished black stone, his limbs twisting, his breath raging in his chest. He finally stopped, his form sprawled, his muscles shaking as he tried to push himself up.

Silence.

The attendants stared, their eyes wide, their bodies frozen in fear. None dared move. None dared breathe.

Zarbon tried to stand.

His arms trembled.

His legs buckled.

"Damn that saiyan!" he says as he collapsed..

Frieza sat upon his throne, his expression perfectly calm.

Too calm.

Dodoria's energy was gone.

Completely.

Frieza had known the moment it disappeared, the absence of his presence like a wound in the fabric of the universe. His eyes slowly shifted toward Zarbon, his voice a whisper that carried the weight of a death sentence.

"Where is..... Dodoria?"

Zarbon swallowed, his throat dry, his body aching.

"Dead my lord ."

The word echoed through the chamber, bouncing off the walls like a curse.

Frieza's tail stopped moving.

For several seconds, nothing happened.

Then a faint pulse of destruction energy passed through the palace, a ripple of power that sent every attendant dropping to their knees. Their foreheads pressed against the floor, their bodies shaking under the weight of their lord's displeasure.

Zarbon lowered his head, his voice a rasp.

"He…"

His breathing was ragged, his words broken.

"…he wasn't normal."

Frieza's eyes narrowed, his voice a command.

"Explain."

Zarbon hesitated, his fingers clenching against the stone.

"He increased his power even though I had taken some of his ki.. ."

"by how much?" Frieza ask..

"I don't know but it was beyond anything I've felt or seen before and,and.. "

Zarbon's expression tightened, his voice dropping to a whisper.

"and then he used some kind of transformation that was different from legends of the saiyans…"

Frieza leaned forward slightly, his voice a dangerous purr.

"And?"

Zarbon's voice became quieter, his words heavy.

"…and then I escaped while he killed dodoria my lord."

Frieza stared at him, his fingers curling around the armrests of his throne.

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

Not amusement.

Something colder.

Something darker.

Interest.

"So." Frieza rose, his voice a whisper that carried the weight of a realization. "a powerful Saiyan has entered my universe."

Whis watched silently from the side of the chamber, his usual smile absent, his expression unreadable.

Frieza looked toward him, his voice a command.

"Tell me everything we know about this type of Saiyan ."

Whis' smile disappeared.

For the first time, something resembling concern crossed the angel's face.

"That," Whis said softly, "may take some time as I need to check for his original universe and amongst other things.. ."

Frieza's eyes sharpened, his voice a growl.

"Then start now."

Far away, on Namek, an ancient Saiyan carried an unconscious Kai toward the last surviving Namekians.

And for the first time since Frieza had taken Beerus' throne

The God of Destruction wondered whether someone had entered his universe who might eventually become impossible to control.
