After the boat landed on the harbor, Karsa was still speechless at the view in front of him. Sailors were tying their ships and boats.
humans, elves, and dwarves were talking and walking together. Children were running everywhere. That view was something Karsa hadn't seen for a long time...
Bulkan tapped on Karsa's shoulders and said, "I think it is time for us to separate. I really enjoyed your company, Karsa. I hope we can meet again..."
Roval was smiling, unlike Meson, who looked like he was happy that Karsa was leaving.
Karsa spoke with an honored voice, "Thank you a lot for your company. May God bless you all."
Those men separated; perhaps destiny will make another way for them to meet. After the men left, Karsa still stood in confusion. "What am I going to do now?"
A little girl with a tiny head, blue eyes, and blond hair approached Karsa. She was thin, with a weak body and ragged clothes. Karsa thought to himself,
(Hmm, what a poor girl. She looks lonely.)
The girl said, "Wow! Uncle, you look strong! Are you a hunter or something? Or maybe a knight!"
Karsa's face remained still. "No, I am a soldier."
The girl's face showed disappointment. "Ohhhh, a soldier. Then you are like the guardians of the city. All of them want to hurt Nona. Do you want to hurt Nona, soldier uncle?"
Karsa sighed, "No, I am not a guardian. And who is Nona anyway?"
Nona laughed, "Ammmmm, Nona is Nona!! Haha!"
Karsa was in shock. (The guardians hurt a small girl like her?! Why?!!) Karsa asked with a worried voice, "Where are your parents?"
Nona looked confused, "Hmm, I don't have parents. I am a filthy, useless girl. I don't deserve parents. That's what the guardians and people say."
Karsa stood in confusion, showing a worried face for the first time in a long time. (This girl...! How can this place be so cruel?!).
A fat guy with a big belly, a bald head, and fancy clothes appeared. He carried a luxury sword and had two men behind him. "Ohhh, you small girl right there... you look beautiful."
Nona replied, "Ohhh, really! Thank you!"
The fat guy had a corrupt and disgusting look on his face. "Indeed. Hey boys! Take her to my room. I want to enjoy myself today."
The two men moved quickly to take Nona, but before they could reach her, Karsa stood like a mountain in front of them and said, "In my religion, this act is considered a grave sin. I cannot let this happen."
The fat guy laughed as loud as he could, while a look of fear appeared on Nona's face.
The fat guy sneered, "Ahhhhh, do you know who I am?! You look new here, so let me teach you a lesson. I am Pigpig, and my father is the Red Pig—one of the Seven Masters of the Black Fingers. Boys, take the girl and kill this guy. I don't like his look."
The two men replied, "Yes, sir!"
Before the two men could take another step, a black aura with golden rings erupted from Karsa's body, and the ground beneath him began to shake.
Nona shouted, "Wow!! The soldier uncle became colorful!"
The two men were in shock. One of them stammered, "Sir... this guy can manifest two colors of aura... that means he is a Grand Master at least!!"
Pigpig was terrified, but his ego wouldn't let him back down; it only made him angrier. "I don't fing care! Kill him, or my father will kill you!"*
The two men surrendered to reality and tried to attack Karsa with quick kicks and punches. But suddenly, the vibe and Karsa's aura vanished—and the two men simply fell to the ground, showing no signs of life.
Nona wondered, "Huh? Where did the colors go? And why did they fall asleep?" She took a stick and started to pat the two men before Karsa lifted her onto his shoulder.
Karsa said, "Let's go, Nona."
Pigpig screamed behind them, "Do you think this is over?! I will find you and kill you, you jerk!!"
Karsa stopped for a moment and said, "In my religion, I retaliate against those who attack me in the same way they attacked me. Be thankful that you didn't attack me yourself, or you would be like those two."
Karsa applied a weak pressure on Pigpig, covering him in a terrifying black aura that made him wet himself from sheer fear. As Karsa and Nona walked away:
Nona asked, "What happened to him?"
Karsa replied, "He is a pervert. Don't get close to him."
Nona cheered, "Okkkkkkkk, soldier uncle!!"
