"She gave you the chance to live. You are the last son of Krypton."
Renjie flew up and pulled Clark into his arms.
He could feel the boy's confusion… and his pain.
Right now, what he needed most—
was a warm embrace.
He was still so young.
Too young to bear such a heavy past.
Clark hugged him tightly in return.
To him, Renjie was not only his father—
he was his only family.
"The Earth's sun is younger than Krypton's… and far brighter."
"Your cells absorb its energy. That is what makes you stronger."

Renjie kissed Clark's forehead, gazing at him with heartfelt sincerity.

He could not yet build the Anti-Monitor Armor.
But creating a matching nano battle suit was still possible.
He would never allow the tragedy of the Supreme Little Superman to repeat itself.
He would raise his own Superman.
"Go to sleep now. Starting tomorrow, I'll teach you how to use your power."
Renjie rubbed Clark's head gently.
It was late. He also needed rest.
The bedroom was dark, the lights off.
Android 18 was already asleep; her steady breathing could be faintly heard.
Renjie quietly climbed onto the bed and reached for her, waking her from her dreams.
"You're back?"
Her voice was calm, but the reproach was unmistakable.
Everything that had happened recently had left her emotionally unsettled.
"Mm…"
Renjie nuzzled against her neck—
"That child… will grow into a terrifying monster."
Android 18 spoke her worries without restraint.
She could feel the dormant power inside him—
he would become the most frightening existence in the universe.
"He is not a monster."
"Just like you, he is someone I love."
"If you treat him as family, he will truly accept you in return."
Renjie spoke gently, proving his words through his actions.
Android 18 said nothing—
but a faint smile lifted the corners of her lips.
For the two of them,
this night was destined to be a happy one.
Later that same night.
After the press conference ended—
"Everything's in the car. Don't mess this up."
"Remember—I want the full data on the Super Soldier Serum Project."
Alex Wesker gave her orders to Ada Wong, tossing the BMW keys behind her.
"Ms. Wesker, I don't recall ever becoming your subordinate."
"And the boss never told me to follow your commands."
Ada raised her hand, catching the keys, and teased her coolly.
Though her presence always seemed faint—
she was, in truth, the busiest one of all.
She was Umbrella's secret broker.
Operating in the shadows, she recruited powerful allies and built Renjie's hidden foundations.
Renjie valued her greatly—
and that made Alex burn with jealousy.
Alex turned back with a cold smile.
"Ada… your vision is too small."
"Everything I do is for the boss's benefit."
"As long as the Sentinel Project succeeds, I will create the most powerful super soldiers in history!"
