The brother he envied most
Thor, the God of Thunder—
Was now gripping the Grand Sage's arm with all his strength, refusing to let go.
And the other hand
Belonged to the one who had arrived astride the eight-legged divine steed
The All-Father of the Gods—Odin.
"You're crushing my hand,"
Renjie said with visible displeasure.
The nano blade in his grasp instantly transformed into a solid armored gauntlet, breaking free from their restraint.
"Although Loki has committed grave sins," Odin said solemnly,
"this matter is not beyond redemption."
"Grand Sage… perhaps you should reconsider your judgment of Loki."
"Consider it—if only for the sake of me, his father."
Odin pleaded earnestly, even willing to lower his status.
He had already lost too much.
His family—and Asgard
Were the last treasures he had left.
Hearing his father's words—
And seeing his brother rush forward to protect him
Loki's eyes finally reddened.
His brother.
His father.
They had never once abandoned him.
It was his own jealousy—
That had driven him step by step into the abyss, until he became what he was today.
Renjie took a deep breath and spoke coldly to Odin.
"You understand better than anyone the crimes Loki has committed."
"You owe the Nine Realms an explanation."
Renjie's words struck the core of the issue.
Odin, seated atop the eight-legged steed, fell silent for a long moment—
Before finally announcing Loki's judgment.
"Loki," Odin declared,
"in my capacity as the All-Father, King of the Nine Realms, I pronounce your sentence."
"From this day forward, you are exiled."
"You are no longer a prince of Asgard—"
"But you are still my son…"
Odin gazed at his child with aching sorrow.
In the end, as the King of the Nine Realms, he delivered Loki's judgment.
Loki becoming what he was today—
Odin himself bore part of the responsibility.
Gripping the Gungnir, Odin released Loki from his bindings.
Yet he did not strip Loki of his divine power.
Loki collapsed heavily onto the ground.
Thor rushed forward at once, helping him to his feet.
With Odin's signal, Thor escorted Loki away from the Bifrost.
Watching his two sons disappear into the distance
Odin finally let out a long breath
And then collapsed from his steed!
Renjie reacted instantly, catching him before he hit the ground.
Odin was far too weak now.
His body was riddled with openings
So fragile that a single dagger could end his life.
"Renjie…" Odin murmured weakly.
"They're still immature…"
"Please… help me take care of them…"
"Asgard… I entrust it to you…"
Odin's forced awakening had already placed an unbearable burden on his body.
He had to enter Odinsleep immediately
Or he would not survive.
But before falling asleep—
He had to settle everything.
"I have no interest in babysitting a bunch of brats,"
Renjie replied impatiently.
"Mr. Odin, you should find someone else…"
He had no intention of staying in Asgard.
In Marvel's Phase One, Earth was the primary battlefield for all Events.
If he wanted to obtain System rewards, he had to remain on Earth—
And eliminate every Watcher lurking in the shadows!
But Odin trembled as he raised his hand and tightly grasped Renjie's.
"Renjie… for the peace of the Nine Realms…"
"Promise me…"
"Teach my children how to become true kings…"
"Runes… Dwarven forging techniques… Uru metal…"
"I can give you all of it…"
Odin looked at Renjie with hope.
This was his final request.
As the last words left his lips—
He lost consciousness.
Heimdall rushed forward, lifting the All-Father into his arms and sprinting into the distance.
The vast Bifrost fell silent.
Only Renjie remained
Alongside two immensely powerful Android warriors.
"Even in this state… still worrying about his sons…"
"So this is… a father's love for his children?"
"How touching…"
"But someone like me—"
"Probably won't ever experience father–son affection in this lifetime."
Renjie scoffed dismissively.
He was still young.
He didn't need a son.
Yet the speaker spoke carelessly
And the listener took it to heart.
At that very moment
