Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Judgment

At this moment.

Somewhere within a military base.

According to data from the satellite monitoring radar, an unidentified flying object was approaching their location at a terrifying speed—dozens of times the speed of sound.

"General! The F-22 stealth fighters we deployed have lost contact!"

"Also! There's an unidentified object heading straight for the base!"

"It's a humanoid flying craft… it's almost here!"

A communications soldier urgently reported to General Ross in the command room, his face etched with panic.

Based on the energy readings detected, the amount of power within the approaching target was impossible to calculate.

"Are you joking?!"

"At such an insane speed… even Iron Man couldn't pull this off!"

General Ross stormed forward in anger, preferring to believe the satellite was malfunctioning than to accept the horrifying reality before him.

Then—an explosion rang out from outside!

The entire command room shook violently from the blast!

Alarms blared across the base, and the final images transmitted from the scene revealed devastation.

The hangar area of the airport appeared to have been struck by a small meteor!

The once-flat airport had been transformed into a massive crater stretching hundreds of meters!

Thick, choking smoke spiraled skyward, and scorching firewaves warped the air above molten earth.

From this apocalyptic human no-go zone, a magnetic, cold laugh echoed.

Android 18, her body enveloped in blue-and-white light, floated midair, her golden, shoulder-length hair whipping wildly in the aura of her rage.

The soldiers who had rushed to the scene, armed and ready, arrived swiftly.

Armored vehicles and M1 tanks surged in from all directions.

This was the world's most advanced and heavily armed armored force—battle-hardened and formidable.

But they had chosen the wrong opponent, provoking a terrifying existence they could not hope to comprehend.

From Android 18's perspective, the human military forces were all carefully measured for combat potential.

"Hmph! Combat power rating of… 5? Pathetic…"

A cold, disdainful smirk crossed Android 18's face.

The blue-and-white energy in her palm coalesced into a skull-sized orb, which she hurled into the densest cluster of soldiers.

BOOM!

The instant the energy sphere struck the ground, all life within a few hundred meters was wiped out instantly.

The remaining soldiers scattered in panic!

Several of the more reckless ones, unthinking, fired aimlessly into the smoke-filled crater.

"Be destroyed… you scum…"

Android 18 emerged from the smoke, her elegant figure looming in the azure sky.

She raised her hands coldly, transforming them into roaring energy cannons, firing meter-wide energy spheres.

These detonated on impact, vaporizing armored vehicles and incinerating soldiers instantly.

From start to finish, the battle had lasted only thirteen seconds.

This proud military base of a sinful nation was reduced to a blazing inferno.

No life signs remained on the surface; collapsed buildings were littered with charred corpses, their faces twisted in despair and regret.

This was the wrath of a god, cleansing the world of sinners.

"Oh? Underground tunnels too…"

Android 18's biological radar detected deep beneath the earth.

No human underground bunker could escape her perception.

She tracked the fleeing survivors and flew toward their escape route with a cruel smile, planning a final surprise at the end of the tunnel.

The underground escape route.

General Ross, pale as death, was being supported by two aides as he fled.

Behind them, a middle-aged man in a suit and gentlemanly demeanor followed—transporting the latest batch of weapons, unaware that such a disaster was unfolding.

Thankfully, he still had General Ross's protection… if only they could escape.

But the man's survival instincts were abruptly cut short by a thunderous noise ahead.

Amid the dust, a beautiful young girl, hands casually in her pockets, walked toward them with a cold, indifferent expression.

Ross realized the truth immediately—this was the consequence of his own actions. The girl was here for revenge.

"Open fire!"

Ross roared, desperate.

What had happened today must never be revealed.

The soldiers obeyed, pulling the triggers of their weapons—their last hope of survival.

The black muzzles spewed orange sparks, illuminating the enclosed tunnel.

But in Android 18's eyes, the bullets slowed to a crawl—slower than a snail.

She raised her palm indifferently and crushed the incoming rounds into irregular iron chunks, tossing them aside.

While the soldiers stared in disbelief, Android 18 surged forward.

Her left hand became a blade in a flash, and in a blink, she snapped the necks of all the soldiers.

The only survivors left in the scene were General Ross and the terrified middle-aged man, whose face was frozen in horror.

"Stop! Do you know who you're facing?!"

"I am General Ross, representing the most powerful nation on this planet!"

"I am a top-ranking military officer—do you understand the consequences if you kill me?!"

Ross tried to threaten her with the weight of his influence, though he stumbled backward, clutching the wall in panic.

"Are you talking about these weaklings?"

"Heh… how laughable…"

Android 18 sneered. Even the combined forces of the world's armies were nothing to her.

She extended her left hand, grabbing Ross's neck, while her right hand pressed his shoulder with immense force.

Clean. Efficient.

His skull was ripped from his spine, blood spraying, staining the only survivor's white suit as he screamed in terror.

"Don't kill me! Don't kill me!"

"I'm Justin Hammer!"

"I'm CEO of Hammer Industries!"

"I have money! Lots and lots of money!"

"I'll give you anything, just don't kill me!"

Hammer screamed, kicking the corpses behind him as he tried to retreat.

Even witnessing Ross's brutal demise, he was terrified.

But at the mention of money, Android 18's interest was piqued.

Originally intending to finish him off, she now reconsidered.

From her vantage point, Android 18 scanned the virtual network for data on Justin Hammer.

Arms dealer. Billionaire. Rival to Stark Industries.

A flood of information appeared before her.

She realized immediately—keeping Hammer alive might be far more useful to the Creator than killing him outright.
