During COVID-19 period l visited my aunt in Mukono district. Chris is her name, she lives in Ntunda village and works as a hair dresser in a saloon. She's beautiful and kind lady who has 6 kids.
One day after a week's stay at her place she decided to teach me how to plait hair so that I can start lending her a hand in her saloon.
It wasn't hard for me since I'm a quick learner so I didn't take long to master the skills so by the period of Xmas Eve I helped her a lot. I learned many things at her place since she's a God fearing person, she taught me to behave and coming closer to God.
Since I was lazy, she helped me in learning more things apart from hair dressing. Like cooking, washing clothes, fetching water, arranging the house and many more.
In my stay at her place, I enjoyed it all from baby sitting her young girls, visiting places like mabira forest, sugar cane plantations, rice plantations and many more. I learned many new tribes I didn't know like Basamya and Badaama.
I worked tirelessly so that I impress her. I went to farm to dig and even getting food.l was humble and obeyed any thing she said and wanted me to do.
One night we discussed with aunt Chris to get for me a job and she told me that for her is dealing in getting house help for her friends so I decided to go with that. And that's how I left her place to go and work in town.
