Arthur remained silent for several moments after Alex finished speaking. The man simply watched him, studying the young boy carefully. Deep inside, Arthur understood something clearly now.
The Alex standing in front of him was no longer the same boy they had known before the battle. The calmness in his voice, the confidence in his decisions, and the overwhelming power he now possessed had already pushed him far beyond the level of an ordinary human.
Alex had changed.
