Uncle could easily talk and move his arms the next day. I hid the cream buns I got, because I wouldn't want him knowing the reason I arrived late.
I had crossed the borders of Eindrigin illegally. Again. But I was with Ruby this time and I did nothing that involved me being away from him for long so I didn't meet any unwanted surprises.
The door bell rang just when I was about to walk through it. My senses became alert on instinct but I remembered Ritch still lingered around here.
For some reason, he refused to show himself to me. Elle always left before I came. I wondered why.
I opened the door and saw it was the delivery carriage. I raised a brow when he handed me a ribboned box, with the official seal of the region.
These kinds of gifts could only come from the capital but I knew no one there. Levine was supposed to be at the Duke of Deception's region.
