My debt in Eindrigin would be settled someday—that day came sooner than I had anticipated.
However, after meeting the royal son and Duke of Deception—and surprisingly having the guts to throw a dagger at him—facing the Duke of Melancholy didn't seem so impossible.
"It is impressive how you jumped to that conclusion because Ruby brought you here. That Duke isn't the only one who stays in Eindrigin."
I frowned, folding my arms around my chest. Did he want to show me something else then?
"Eidrin and his older brother lived here, but I doubt that Ruby is taking me to his older brother now."
"The oldest ones had lived here, with the youngest brothers they raised. They left Dionus because all the Disciples stayed there. This was before the truce. Amongst them, only Lilin lived at Dionus."
Why did they leave the youngest in the kingdom? I knew he moved freely now, but before the truce they had issues with the Disciples—why didn't they all move to Eindrigin?
