The arrow flew across the battlefield as fast as a bullet, and it struck Currway's left eye dead center, punching through and embedding itself deep in the socket.
Currway didn't even roar or scream this time. He was too scared of Lena to even express his fury at what had just been done to him. He was not even afforded the dignity of yelling.
His hand covered his face, demonic blood seeping between his claws, mixing with the human blood from all of those he had slaughtered.
"Everyone!" Lumi's voice was cold. "He's vulnerable! His guard is down! Press the attack! Don't let him recover!"
The assault intensified. Warriors closed in from all sides, seeing their chance. Thieves struck from the shadows. Mages unleashed their strongest spells. Archers fired as accurate as they possibly could.
Currway fought back desperately, but injured as he was, his effectiveness was reduced.
